Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

The wallet executable on windoze 7 64bit is terrible - generally slow & very unresponsive, it takes an age to sync & is pretty unusable while doing so - & not much better when it's finished. I see a few members have commented on this problem also - is the issue being looked into?

Thanks  Smiley

I have the same issues with DRK wallet Sad

How many transactions have you done with the wallet? How large is the wallet size?

My DRK wallet size is 36 MB and he has about 2300 transactions

It seems that the high transaction count messes up QT while the regular command line daemon works fine. The only way to solve this for now is to move all of your funds to a new wallet.

I don't think this is the cause of the problem - my wallet has done less than 50 transactions since the upgrade.......

1111 masternodes!

Can someone explain to me what the 0.2% of masternodes at version 0.10.16 means? Why is there a version number that seems to be in advance of the latest version 0.10.15.17 that 89.7% of the masternodes are at?

10.16.x was the experimental version which supports holding multiple 1000 DRK masternode batches in one wallet, so you can start multiple remote masternodes using one local wallet.

This is why I rarely leave the Dark topics, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=842782.0.

I'm not sure who this Spoetnik character is, but he's on a warpath and if what he's doing is honourable, he's got my support.

This bit about on BlockNET and the never ending bs the XC crowd dish up is just atypical of the crap that keeps popping up in crypto. I long for the day this type of stuff will be routed before it even gets started. It seems like so many people are in on these scams at the ground floor hoping to ride them up and make fast dollars at genuine investors' loss. It just damages all of crypto. We all need to rally around the good people in crypto and really highlight their commitment and decency. This realm is very badly effected by "evil flourishes when good (people) see it and do nothing".

Oh okay, thanks. So is there just one of these running on main-net as a continuing test?

wtf happened at bitfinex just now ? two sells of 261 drk & 362 drk can bring it down to 0.0044 ??
edit : must be the low volumes there that has such impact on the price ? Amazing that it can go that low.. and kinda frustrating to see that after the huge 3311 DRK
buy it wont go higher then 0.0053

whoever did this : well played, i suspect we will be seeing three more active Masternodes soon Smiley

my windows wallet-qt also hangs while syncing, had this with 10.15.16 and newest 10.15.17 version. it does not sync to current block right now - even after restart - and it shows a warning about "nodes need to update" at the bottom

try removing the peers.dat file (dont delete the wallet.dat !!!) and adding the following nodes in your darkcoin.conf :

addnode=54.187.228.106:9999
addnode=68.226.51.134:9999
addnode=192.241.246.214:9999
addnode=93.95.228.131:9999
addnode=94.23.148.203:9999
addnode=212.129.12.103:9999
addnode=81.134.134.100:9999
addnode=108.61.211.107:9999

if that doesnt help try -reindex in the target of the shortcut (path\darkcoin-qt.exe -reindex)

Increasing masternode count is useless if the price continues to drop. The idea was that as masternodes increases the price will go up. But it so far doesn't go up which means:  More masternodes=less payment/per masternode ->leads to-> dumping of masternode darkcoins-> leads to downward death spiral.

Are you serious? You're concerned with a low volume move down? Someone could buy 5BTC on Bitfinex and move the price 10% to the upside. If you're focused on the short-term, then you're losing focus on the larger picture. So far the masternode count continues to rise...

Thanks. My CLOAK which was worth 7 BTC at one point seems to now be worth 0.6 BTC. Veri is also shrivelled. NEOS is off the radar.

So does that mean that all these coins did not in fact "wipe the floor" with DRK as their promoters posited on this thread a few months ago ?
