Setting up masternode is impossibly hard !
and
There is no "SOMEONE" just people selling DRK .

Wow... the time and effort to FUD threads is quite mind boggling.

Setting up a node is very easy. Even for linux newbies.

For those who want one but lack the skills, feel free to use my service (link in sig) or Mangled Blue/Flare's service. Two totally trustless solutions.

flare's service is trustees but i don't think mangled blue's is.

Woops, you're totally right. Edited my post. To note that Mangled is a solid member of the community.

As chaplins masternode status no longer exists, do we have another chance to see ho often a MN was choosed and no payment was done. And again 5 days without a payment.
Sometimes it gets harder to still belive into the Dark.

5 days is indeed a long time.  Perhaps you should restart your masternode.  I went a couple days without a payment, restarted masternode and had a payment withing a couple hours.  I  don't know if restarting actually did anything but it made me feel a little better knowing for certain that everything was working.  I'm averaging 1.2 DRK a day over the past two weeks.  Unfortunately even with masternode payments I'm still in the red from my last buy in point.  But since I decided to make a risky investment I'm prepared to suffer any losses I might incur.  For now I'm just going to ride it out.  If the price goes below a certain price that I have predefined I'll quietly sell my DRK and move on.  I think that's the best course of action for an investor to take when making any high risk investment.

http://www.coindesk.com/bitfinex-alphapoint-integration/

now if this can somehow lead to more trading in Darkcoin on Bitfinex .. that would be great.

quote :

****************************************************************************************************************************************
AlphaPoint’s Telyatnikov indicated that while the partnership has been announced, the actual back-end migration of the Bitfinex exchange has yet to be completed.

“The migration does take some time and we’re in the middle of that,” he said. “I don’t want to give specific dates, but we definitely expect it to happen in the next month or two.”

Founder Joe Ventura provided additional details, noting that it will now seek to migrate Bitfinex’s database to its platform.

“For a short period of time, we’ll be running both systems in parallel to make sure everything is functioning as normal,” he explained. “Then, we’ll do a full transition and unplug their back-end and everything will ride on our back-end.”

Ventura said that Bitfinex customers shouldn’t notice any changes during the transition process, as user interface will remain the same.

“It should be seamless,” he concluded.''

****************************************************************************************************************************************

lets hope so, last thing we need is another exchange migration fiasco.

qwizzie

edit : as with all exchanges but especially now with this migration underway it might be wise to leave as few coins as possible on Bitfinex

Woops, you're totally right. Edited my post. To note that Mangled is a solid member of the community.

how do you know? better be careful! I got him on ignore since long time and would not advice anybody to trust him. Flare is the one you can trust I would say.

I know he is, hands down, a solid member of the community. Never said anything more than that. The only reason I have not done Pooled Masternodes before (even upon request) was I could not figure how to do it in a trustless manner. When you need to hand funds to someone else, it is what it is...

First release of $MN$ is ready!! This program monitors your Masternode balances and sends you either a text message or email notification when you are paid.

Normal view...

With settings exposed...

At the moment it is unfortunately only available on windows, but if everything goes relatively smoothly I'll get to work on Linux and Mac releases shortly. There will be a little more customization added in the near future. If anyone has any specific requests for features I will be happy to look into it. Let me know what you think!

Announcement
Darkcoin price ticker
Upgraded to version 2.3
Available for download
See link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=nl.wiskunde.drk

which exchange is this linked to ??

edit:
can you please post a screen shot with the new logo so I can use that for promotion !?
tx

Hi Tungfa,

It uses Bittrex as exchange.

You can download the screenshots from here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=nl.wiskunde.drk

To read other app version information you can go to the link: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=679938.0

Sincerely,

Wiskunde

Maybe its better to use Cryptsy as exchange, thats the exchange where the largest Darkcoin volume is traded.

on a sidenote : for anyone using google docs spreadsheets try this in a spreadsheet :

=IMPORTHTML(ʺhttps://bitcoinwisdom.comʺ,ʺtableʺ, ʺ0ʺ)

shows the volumes of some specific exchanges per coin, so you can see which one has leading volume.

Hi Qwizzie,

Cryptsy API do not allow to get fast summarized information from yesterday. Anyhow if I change the app to Cryptsy, it must be downgraded to version two to have approximately same speed and it will lose some functionality what version 2.3 has.

@Community
Today I have updated the app, the logo looks more natural(uses more width).
It will be available for download within two hours(Google Dependent).

Sincerely,

Wiskunde

Enforcement caused forks yet again and it's been disabled. Anyone not on the correct fork just needs to restart the daemon with --reindex and it'll be fine. Can anyone who was stuck on a fork please email me the debug.log to evan@darkcoin.io?
