Hashra seems to be at a much better price point. Also interested in the legitimacy of that site. Keep us up to date.

+1 regarding reservations about site, but heartened by the fact that they waited until they could ensure stock...

We shall see...

Blackcoin ~ 10 second transactions (fastest coin) ~ 100% proof of stake (the first) ~ No wasteful mining (most efficient)

The price point on Hashra is what makes them appealing to me.

Yeah, I'm a wee bit confused by that.  Assuming the LA6M is indeed twice as fast as the LA3M, and not a larger factor, then...
GRIDSEED 3+ MH/S ASIC SCRYPT & SHA MINER: $2,285
x2 = $4,570
GRIDSEED 6+ MH/S ASIC SCRYPT & SHA MINER: $4,565

For $5 more you get redundancy and better resale value, at the cost of needing an additional power supply, port, space, etc.

But even that's not so bad since they have a complete package:
GRIDSEED 3+ MH/S SCRYPT & SHA MINER (Including PSU & Accessories): $2,425
x2 = $4,850
GRIDSEED 6+ MH/S SCRYPT & SHA MINER (Including PSU & Accessories): $4,835

Not seeing great incentive to get the LA6M instead of 2xLA3M.  Must be missing something obvious - skewed shipping costs?

Hello fellow Hashers!

Can someone tell me what size the male 12V coaxial connector is on the Gridseed dual miner? The 5 chip one with the gold heat sink.
I have 5 miners coming in the mail without them, so I need to make my own.
Size is given in letters like size H, I, J, K, L and so on.
What is it?

Thanks and happy hashing!

ASIC are killer or cryptoworld...al money from crypto goes to few companies that makes ASIC..crypto was built to be people money so they can make it with their computers and not in hand of few companies .
I'd recommend you try a google search for 'site:bitcointalk.org asics kill' and 'site:bitcointalk.org asics ruin', read all the top threads, then reply in one of them if you still feel the way you do.

What is it?
It's a 5.5mm x 2.5mm barrel connector.  That'd be AdaptaPlug N.   You can go smaller on the outer diameter, and larger on the inner diameter if need be.. a little aluminum foil goes a long way to make up for a loose fit.

Is there a sales website for this stuff? To read product descriptions, price, etc?
chip maker: http://gridseed.com/main.php
UK seller of product: http://hashra.com/scrypt-miners/ (click outside the 'quick view' circle for details)
And of course see page 1 of this thread.

The price point on Hashra is what makes them appealing to me.  I'd like to hear from at least 1 or 2 persons first who can confirm they got their orders and what their experience was like.

Will do. I'll probably do a detailed review in a separate thread and post a link here. Stay tuned.

I payed in BTC on Feb 11 and Jack said 7-10 days after payment.Today is Feb 24 and:
1.I have received no product.
2. I have no tracking order, nothing. I'm tinkering with my thoughts if I should ask for a refund today or wait for one more day .
So atm I'm a very unhappy customer.

I've refrained from posting publicly so far, but I'm in the same boat and feel it's time to open my mouth.  Paid via PayPal on the 12th(shipping date of the 18th promised by Jack on the 15th), my payment was confirmed a week ago and I've been told by Angela a few days ago that they were to ship the next day, but still no tracking yet.  Instead of replying to my messages on here telling me to email "because it's easier??"(which I did and I'm not getting responses for two days), why not use the information that I provided in the message to look up my order and provide me with tracking?  As everyone knows, time is money when it comes to ASICs, and each day that they're sitting in China and not here hashing is costing me...

I don't feel like Jack is out to scam anyone, but they are highly disorganized and have failed at communication(ignoring me and then finally replying to my message without the information I requested doesn't count!) and meeting promised obligations, at least to me.

I will come back and edit this message when and if I get tracking information.  I am very close to beginning the dispute process in PayPal, giving Jack a few more hours to make good on tracking...

I'm slightly worried because several members on here are having trouble duplicating Jack's advertised .5MH results as well, if I can only get .3 from these units my ROI has changed SIGNIFICANTLY, and I will not be happy about that either...  I did see that a new firmware update is incoming, though.  So that may well make good on it.

I started the resolution process in paypal a few days ago in case things go pear shaped. I would encourage other Paypal orders to do the same. I will happily close my case  once shipped but until then it's best to leave it open.

If anything it will expedite either the shipping of the product or the refund of it.

In the same boat as Quakefiend420

Definitely getting the constant run around. He keeps telling me to send my payment info and address and I've sent it over 15 times already.

Everyday I am not mining, I am not making a ROI. I payed Jack's higher prices because I thought I was going to get it faster than anywhere else. But if Hashra is cheaper and faster...

If I don't get a tracking # soon, I have no choice but to file a chargeback...

All it takes is 5 minutes to update the Original Post to let everyone know what is going on.  There's no excuse 5 minutes can't be spared when this much money is involved.

This is my situation
I paid on feb 11 through bank wire, and according to the bank they have my money since feb 13.
Payment was confirmed by Angela last week

Saturday, February 22, 2014   Location   Time
1   Shipment information received    SHENZHEN - CHINA, PEOPLES REPUBLIC

I have the "tracking number" since Saturday,  yesterday i asked jack why the packgage still wasn't in dhl's hands, he told me that they had some problems with dhl, and for this reason the package would be picked up on Monday.
If in 24 hours the package isn't show as being moving
I will ask for a refund

update : my order has been shipped  Smiley (feb 24)

+1 - I just opened my dispute as i called DHL and they se no such item shipping to my address.

Also, Jack seems to be unable to tell me a tracking ID of my order.

I also msg'ed Jack on skype asking for a refund. No response so far.
