yep been down for a while.. Whats wrong with it.. ? If it's not up shortly it will be dead cause we will all move somewhere else.. Thanks you ani.minepool.cc but I've now moved to http://cpu-pool.net/ lets hope thats just as good.. Damn this pool rocks, should have switched sooner.. hopefully they payout... lol I joined http://cpu-pool.net/ myself at 11.30am UK time today, and in the 4 hours 40 minutes I have been with them, I have made 2723 coins. I'm running 2 rigs (one AMD Athlon 64 X4 3200, on Intel I7 @3000Mh/z), both with 3 threads (keeping one free for GPU mining software and day to day use on the I7). When I was on ani.minepool.cc - I was getting around 1000 coins per DAY. I have a feeling their pool wasn't very well managed - it frequently reported me as running at about 70Kh/s per processor, yet cpu-pool.net is showing me at a much better rate. If this stays the same, I will get as much in the next two days as it took me two WEEKS to get on ani.minepool.cc I am happy it went offline, or I'd still be being ripped off several thousand coins per day! Thats the same with my experience... I think they have ripped us off... seems to be a lot of that going on atm. same for me, i got 5 to 10 more coins with this pool ... i think we have been scamed by ani.minepool.cc ....

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

I am not sure we were being scammed intentionally - I just think that the pool was not set up right - causing alot of our hashing rate to be wasted.
Still - having a decent payout finally makes me positive about Animecoin again, and I will continue to mine for the foreseeable future.
I am into the Japanese culture myself (though it's Idol culture for me) and I have a lot of friends who are also into Anime and similar, some of them are fan artists - and I may start tipping them in Animecoin for their art they do, as a way of spreading the love (and expanding the idea)

How much I like idiots that like to open mouth without start the brain before Minepool have 90 active miners, cpu-pool only 30 (right now). Of course if cpu-pool find one block it will shared better. But it's clean that with this little hash power, cpu-pool find more less blocks. Also minepool have one user with big cpu-power that find very many blocks. The software rewards more the person that find the block. Finally results, come to megapools.org

I've contact "xorxor" of coinplorer.com and ask for add our coin to the site and to the main threadThis is his answer : Hi, I normally don't add "small" coins, because I never know if they will last or not, and hosting costs a lot of money (the website is currently running on 25+ servers). However, I believe Coinplorer significantly adds value to the added coins. And this value will even increase very soon, as I'm currently implementing a multi-currencies web wallet. This is why I ask small coins like this the equivalent of $500 to be added, payable in ANY currency - even yours if it best fits you. The payment doesn't have to come from a single source, it could be a "community donation" or anything you can imagine. The other choice is to wait to be listed on https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=134179.0 as an "Alternative" coin (ie not in the purgatory nor dead/dying). Let me know what best fits you. .... bounty ?

Not for me, bribing dody exchanges. He doesn't do small coins? He bloody does! Junkcoin, florincoin, franko... yeah right.
Someone will pick this up because it is a good coin, not because of a bribe. If you happen to have millions (as a pool owner you might!) then feel free!
