Anybody here mining?
No need to share $ amount if you do not wish to, but Im interested to know what kind of fees the minders are receiving and if raising or lowering the tx fee would be something that could be changed in the future?
I am mining, about 30Gh/s. Have been for about 16 days and have gotten 51.7 PMC. Not too bad! Are you in a pool or solo?

I still don't understand how these coins were distributed.
What were the requirements for receiving PMC? Were 499,000 PMC given to just a handful of people? How much PMC did each developer receive? Are there any left for regular users?

What were the requirements for receiving PMC?Declaring an early interest. That is mainly it. Were 499,000 PMC given to just a handful of people?Quite a many handfuls, who them themselves gave it to many others. How much PMC did each developer receive?0. The dev gave them all away. Are there any left for regular users? If you mean of the initial coins? No. They are now in the hands of users, the market, and so on. The coin has become valuable now, so giving it away would be like giving people free BTC. It would defeat the point. There are still promotional giveaways taking place, so you can still get coins for nothing, but the initial phase of the distribution ended some time ago.

Hi All...for those just joining the thread.... This has to be one of the easiest votes we can do - simple click and vote in a poll for Bter. We currently have 5 votes ( now 27!), although others have a lot more they are saying they will add more than one coin, so well worth a second of your time: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=502363.0CLICK, VOTE - EASY PEASY! Also you can have 3 votes so worth asking others to vote on our behalf, along with their own choices, as we are one of the smaller communities...maybe for those that use troll boxes or are active with other coins. :-)

What was the amount of PMC given to each person and how many people received PMC? It varied. You'd need to speak to the dev about that. Around 5k per person, but it varied. There were also some larger payouts for a couple of bounties. It seems like a lot now, but for a coin that had zero market cap, it was essentially worthless when it was given out. As far as I'm concerned, those who got it early deserve it. There were a few greedy people in the bunch trying to get more, but the majority of people who got PMC spent time spreading it out among others.

Hi TulipMania and welcome...I also got given some PMCs for putting a link in my signature, the faucet and there was a giveaway on Reddit. Not sure how many of these are still active but just to show opportunities do come up to get some as a regular user. Or *sprint* over to Poloniex, you can currently buy them in the 0.00056 range (last buy price), which is a bit of low at the moment, but not sure how long it will last (obviously do your research too, I've known it as low as 0.00038 and as high as 0.1 in the last month or so): https://poloniex.com/exchange/btc_pmcHope that helps! Oh yes and please use one of your 3 votes to help us get on Bter, just a click and a vote, very easy and much appreciated! https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=502363.20;topicseen

The block rewarder keeps the network a little busier at least, and it's not costing me a lot to run, so I'll keep it going.

TulipMania, get and post a PMC address and I will send a few... I was given 20 for a giveaway and I have only managed to give 4.5 of those out...
My giveaway was a simple 'get a BITCOIN vanity address' and use it for PMC. ( That works BTW ) \ But for you? Just get any PMC address...

Alt and Nullu thank you both for answering my questions, I have been thinking of investing in PMC but everyone I know kept bringing up those questions about the distribution. I have to say it sucks that it was all given out initially to less than 100 people, but I will still buy some if any large sell orders come up, thanks

Like this? 1MivexiLEfUVeo13WApbNFHbapKFSkYMo4 (don't send though, I have more than enough ) I can generate some simple vanity addresses for a PMC tip. As long as it doesn't take a hundred years And a slightly on-topic question - if you're looking for a gambling site (with a persistent wallet), do you consider SSL a necessity? (ah, and something more on topic - https://twitter.com/CoinedUp - you think we have a chance? )
