Yup, pretty standard.

The ETH scam won't see 2016

Irrespective of traded volume, this bet resolves as Yes if the ETH price is under 0.001 BTC at any point during December 2015 as reported by poloniex .

Irrespective of traded price, this bet resolves as Yes if the total traded ETC/BTC volume during December 2015 is under 100 BTC as reported by the same source.

This bet resolves as No if neither above condition is satisfied.

Guys When the homestead releases, there will also be a new wallet right?
Because At the moment I have my ethereum on a exhange, and I am going to wait until homestead.
Before I will send my coins to the wallet, because then I don't have to take care of the change right?

And I don't understand why ethereum is going down but there seems a strong resistance at 10 dollar so that is good!
You already can download a Homestead ready wallet from their github.
https://github.com/ethereum/mist/releases

Homestead is 1.3.4. I downloaded a few days ago. It is working properly. I already used the new geth to send some funds.

Ok nice thank you man!, I downloaded the new wallet and I had a minor problem, but it is fixed because I only needed to sync my windows clock!
Also I downloaded the miner and I got a error Get qt 5.5 So I downloaded that, but haven't opened it yet.

Because I am downloading the Ethereum blockchain now!!
But when I have the miner ready will a Nvidia gt 260 still get some Ethereum or am I to late for that?

Currently ETH is 0.0227 in Poloniex! How do you explain the low cost and almost no interest in ethereum literally hours before the release of Homestead! For me personally it is a bit inexplicable. The price now had to be at least 0.03 +
The price continues to fall............... Huh

This is a little odd but still a very good chance to buy some cheap ETH while it lasts. Look in the bright side: Buy cheap ETH now, and then profit when price hits $20+ (I am very optimistic) Homestead will be yet another exciting release (I think). All we have to do is hold onto our ETH and wait for something big to happen.  Roll Eyes

Ahh just shaking out the week hands:)

Got a question.. I just started mining solo last night.  I checked my wallet on transaction explorer and it shows me with 1.875 ether.. What is odd is i don't show any mined blocks nor any received transactions.  Is this normal if you mine an uncle or did i lose the race and someone else included my block ?   Not sure i completely understand how that works.. Can someone direct me to a thread that explains the block rewards or at least a formula to figure it out.

Best Regards
d57heinz

EDIT >>ok it looks like it was the transaction explorer i was using..  big difference in data presented on etherscan.io  vs etherchain.org which is what i was using,..  And i mined my first uncle.. So at least i know my setup is Working.. Now for that first block:)

Yes the whales are playing with the price on Poloniex, But I will just hold I made that mistake now to many times to sell at the wrong moment!
Congrats on your first mined ether! Could you tell my the kind of system, you have to mine ether?
Because I would like to try to mine Ether to but I want to know if it has any point?

Also I am still downloading the blockchain, in the beginning everything went well.
But after like block 700k+ it keeps shutting down, and geth tells me there are no nodes.
And when I restart it continues where it left, but it is still happening a lot.
Anyone a solution for that?

Oh and I made a Twitter post About Ethereum, if you would like Please retweet and follow me here:

We already knew that ETH has its own problems, including a bunch of shills that keep pumping it, hoping to achieve escape velocity from the black hole of alt-coin mediocrity. So far, that effort hasn't proven to be fruitful. I suppose you could post a bunch of Ethereum "news" articles too, but again, people aren't that stupid - so you might want to back off that too

Since when is the Homestead website up and running? Yesterday it still said "Frontier"  Shocked

Today:
https://www.ethereum.org

Yesterday:
https://web.archive.org/web/20160306020456/https://ethereum.org/

The site change was today. I know because I have been constantly checking the page throughout the day and first it was the Frontier page and then it changed to the Homestead page after the number of blocks required for Homestead have been reached. This is very exciting. I have never thought ETH could get this far. Next step would be ETH at $20 each, you'll see.  Roll Eyes

Because the vast majority of traders don't give a damn about the tech. All your seeing is trading games, this is what its about. Yeah yeah new account but maybe I'm not. Hold them, or join in the games because this asset (its not a coin) will reach £20 within a month.

If you missed one of the biggest Ethereum's project presale - Augur.net (REP token)
I have an account with 10 BTC worth of rep (500 REP) for sale, we can escrow if you are interested.

PM me or comment. Quick transation. You will be getting full account on official Augur website.

Procedure:

1. I hand account control to escrow picked from one of the escrow sites.
2. You transfer the BTC.
3. Escrow releases BTC to me and the account to you.

Blockchain is being looked at as a great way to transform finance as we know it to this very day. Although there is a genuine use case for distributed ledger technology in the monetary system, its use cases transcend the borders of payments and settlement.

With all due respect, I honestly do not understand why ETH be so overvalued.
I mean, she has a revolutionary development project, but the fact of infinite emissions ETH will the price of it crashing down in the long term.

To be respectful is not to come here and shit all over a great technology.  If Bitcoin wouldn't keep dragging their feet then you all wouldn't have to worry about your precious Bitcoin being over taken. Yes it can happen. Bitcoin to me is like aol when the Internet first came about.  We all know how that ended up.  Many bigger better things come along to take its place.  Don't be foolish and don't disrespect others great achievements.   What's great about crypto is if you don't like this coin then use something else.  It's not our problem you all missed out on the first little pump.  Quit Bitchin buy some ether like the rest of us are doing and be apart of something great.  Remember that all of crypto is a gamble. It just all depends on which slot machine your picking.

Best regards
D57heinz
