Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Does this have anything to do with the price drop?:

In the fall, Microsoft unveiled a service that revolves around a blockchain alternative called Ethereum, and it plans on building a similar service using yet another alternative called Ripple. Microsoft claims that developers can start using the software in less than 20 minutes.

At first glance it could like like serious competition for ethereum for some, but it's pretty different.

Thanks, I'm a wired.com regular and not seen that today, until now. Yep, that would spook the market, different or not. MS and IBM were used as excuse for the rise, now what?

Not yet decided. Likely there will be some small inflation, so technically it will be unlimited in supply. Which is not as scary as it sounds.

rigs online is a messed up system, im renting 2 rigs one went offline within 5 mins  the other is mining just under 100 mhs,  both rentals are for 740 Mhs  but they still being rented/paid for,  you cant stop a hire.  just beware renters, your better off buying it.  Rigs online you get a thumbs down from me

0.005 is about $2. If the price can hold there for a few months and consolidate, it is good for the future rise.

DONT USE RIGS ONLINE  advertised at suprnova  this is a warning they dont 100 percent sync with nova (more like 10% if that) they have no support network the rigs go straight back online after rip off rental

OC MINER PLEASE take the rigs online off of your page. Your pointing people to a bad place and you lose respect for it.

Is there a minimum that you need to stake you ETH, because i can see the long term backing of this coin, but i have a small holding.

The rumour is that you have to 1500 Ethereum to stake. You can search the internet to find out. It is too big.

I think that this is good. This prevent anyone to profit from this system, and this create a huge demand for the coins, which will make the price rise a lot. By the way, the normal price is back Smiley !
