Seen it a 100,000 times before.

A little delay in the project + Bitcoin price rising = causing people to hedge to other coins.

Nothing has changed, Ethereum is still under development, Homestead still possible in Q1.

Once when I was a "newbie" on this forum, I sold my BTC for 5$ because it crashed down from 31$.
Thought it was over and was happy with my profit (at that time you could mine 1 BTC a day with just a few GPU's).

4 years later I still feel like a fool... I got back in BTC in 2013 and glad I did Wink

ETH prices really unpredictable right now.
from 0.013 down to 0.010 or less in one night.
that's not a healthy sign for good coin, everybody keep saying it've a good tech.
but lot of people lost a lot in here.
this madness must be stop.
or it's just the beginning ?
will we beback to 0.002 again>?

And don't forget it's only 2 big exchanges that sell it. Kraken and Poloniex, it's not hard for whales to play around with the price so people with margins get fucked over and lose a lot of coins.. to them.

Margin traders must've hit hard on this dump. The price is free falling at the moment while the opposite is happening in BTC.

Currently running a network test Homstead. Technical parameters of the network such that the block time increased to 1 minute! The reward for the block you have 5 coins. That is, the network will receive about 3.5 times less coins than now. While this is a test network, but I think it will. Selling coins in such conditions, a very stupid exercise. Under these conditions the current price at 1100K Satoshi will be very small.

Yeah, you're right. People can't look further than 1 week in advance. Guys, I tell you, it will be at at least 0,03BTC when Homestead will be released, and I don't even talk about the PoS phase Wink !

True, but it will be below 0.005 next week.

I really doubt that it will. We may touch 0,007BTC, but I don't think that we'll go further in the dump.

Even if it goes to 0.006, it is still $2.4. That is over 140% rise over the last month also. It is still very good.

I have ethereum mist running on Ubuntu 15.04

Runs perfect not sure why yours is appearing blank maybe you have something not configured correctly?

I'm kind of a noob on ubuntu but the only reason I ditched windows was for crypto and security, if Eth Mist wallet didn't work I would not be using ubuntu.

Is there any way to enable typing within geth? I am using command line but the only thing that happens when i run geth is that it synchronizes the blockchain.
