Do you think Satoshi has died? Your response is indicating this  Roll Eyes

Well, it does not make sense posting a German article here. Most will not understand the content. Make more sense to post it in German discussion section.

Whether Satoshi has died or not is irrelevant. He has left the building

Quote

This is it: Vitalik Buterin, 21 years old, Russian software genius, which operates out of Baar, Canton train, and in which the financial world wonders whether it is their angel of death. Or maybe the Messiah.

Two weeks later, they are in London sitting in front of this boyish Enigma, all the CIOs and CTOs of major banks and investment companies, to hear at an event at the Swiss Embassy, as its new lines of code make their empires obsolete. They are standing around him, listen to him, hanging on his lips, and her eyes are really shine.

Well, if you have to ask…

He reinvented the wheel and made a better one.

Side-note: Ive been contemplating on whether Ethereum will be good or bad for Bitcoin… I've been vacillating between yes and no but am increasingly leaning towards the latter. I am wondering if Bitcoin gradually ceases to be relevant…

If the Ethereum price stays about 0.02 for the next 6 months, will people still think it is a bubble?

Its not a bubble, its a computer

and Bitcoin is a calculator

(We should be grateful - we are about to witness a larger network effect than Google's Android platform and Apple's iOS combined)

I think now is a bad time to buy now. No altcoin has ever seen a rise like bitcoin.
Most (look at DASH) go up in a pump and then go back to their normal level.

ETH is not just an altcoin.

Most altcoins are different branches, originating from Bitcoin.

Ethereum is built from scratch and can run DAPPS.

I expect it to rise for a long period, with some small dumps now and then.

Ethereum marketcap is bigger than all altcoins combined together.

i cant get enough of this, lol cheers for filling my orders and ive set a few more traps....remember this...ETH could go down in price but whoever dumps large amounts, you will not get your coins back cheaper  Tongue
With so much happening with ETH tech wise and the behind the scenes major development  Wink , ETH will be $10+ within 3-6months, imo ETH will be number 2, worth over a $billion cap and if btc keeps fkn up we could see the unthinkable...ETH becomes #1
In this coin for the long term, accumulate as much as you can, sit back and relax  Smiley

https://forum.bitcoin.com/bitcoin-discussion/segwit-forked-unexpectedly-on-testnet-t6111.html   oops,lol but dont worry, they say,lol

Is this the begining of the end of BTC?
Is this when ETH grows up and becomes the son that replaces his father business because hes now old and tired, Tongue

Technically Bitcoin is a fork and Bitcoin Cash is the original blockchain. When the hard fork occurred, people had access to the same amount of coins on Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash.- NIST

I don't think ETH will hurt BTC.
Marketcap may/will grow bigger but they can exist next to each other and BTC could grow because of the succes of ETH and FCT.

ETH is amazing.

But let's be honest, a huge number of people don't "like" BTC because of the "Volatility" of the currency, they don't feel BTC as a "safe harbor"... but look, ETH is much more, much, much more... even if it's in the very beginning, the price goes up and down very quick... over the day, the price (or the percentage) goes very high than it goes down, down, then it hits the normal price.... I really like ETH, but right now it's verycrazy, you can earn lotta money in a day but you can lose it very quick too. But that's normal and that's what happened with BTC (happen yet), but in my opinion ETH has this "kinda siuation" in a much higher speed (at least now).
