I have started to use this "https://holytransaction.com" - now, I can consolidate ETH and other Alt coins in a single dashboard, and also save on having to host the wallets on my hard drive, backup etc. Check it out!

Other cool ETH wallets at jaxx.io

It's been 16 days since I've seen a block, you hosers are totally flooding the network hash rate. Somebody besides me (run Forrest run!) could make make a solid p2pool distro. I bet with enough support the author of Ethereum might re-think a hybrid Peercoin style POS/POW mechanism.

I'm really interested on when the GUI does actually come.

How much cost mining with 280x ? Anyone know ?

280x is pulling ~190w from the wall...do the math with your electricity cost.
one 280x + mainboard+cpu,hdd is 190W ?

No, just gpu...total should be around ~260w

Try deleting the DAG file and try starting the eth miner again. My assumption is that the dag file is maybe corrupt and preventing the miner from working properly. No firewall issues?

Code:
Windows
The below relates to installs compiled from source.
=== Go ===

\~\AppData\Roaming\Ethereum (contains the chain, as well as your keys are in the /keystore subfolder)
\~\AppData\Ethash (contains the DAG when mining)

Also google suggested this:
Code:
I had the same error with my crossfired 7950's on Win 7 and this ended up working for me:

ethminer -F <insert pool url and wallet address> -G --opencl-device 0 -t 2 --opencl-platform 1

Quick question, what is an estimate in MH to yield 1 coin in 24 hours, or what could I expect to earn (Ethereum) with 100MH in a 24 hour period. Ballpark figure  Wink

Thanks for any help.

What sort of hash rates are people getting with the 7950/7970 and the R9 270?

Somewhere around 22 MH with 7950's when peaking. 7970's maybe 25 MH. I am mining with both on the other coin lol

Also mining with a 7870 and getting about 17MH which they are comparable to a R9 270

I am mining with about 125 MH now and picking up: 2 x 280x, 3 x 7950's tomorrow $$$$ used of course lol but hope to see a fast return on added gear.

THX for that input... great way to test with rental rigs  Wink
