This is nice. I have been watching CGA for some time and just decided to start mining a couple of days ago. I now have a mere 3% of the net hashrate and I only wish I would have understood the potential of this coin earlier.

11 blocks (23770 to 23780) in a row without a block reward. Fees only. This coin will possibly be one of the hardest to mine ever.

Man tell me about it, a few days ago i mined 1.5 in a few hours and I decided to stop mining, worst decision ever

New MPOS pool with 1% fee here: http://cga.inceptioncraft.net/mpos/

I made this because, even though I have a great deal of trust in wzttide, it is not healthy to have the majority of the network hashrate on one pool because of the possibility of 51% attacks. P2Pool solves this problem, but many people either cannot or do not want to use it. Therefore, having stable and trustworthy pools (*cough* altcoin pool *cough*) will hopefully help spread the hashrate and keep the network stable.

Miners need to stop selling low. For just a few hours we're trading around 561 CGA in less than 10hrs. This coin which is not yet very elusive now is just producing around 250 CGA per day. Do the math. The demand is much greater than the supply so you can sell at higher prices! Let's build it to 0.1BTC/CGA to 1BTC/CGA  Shocked Cool

Totally agree

I bought some more. I think is really cheap price.

Today was a good day. Glad I miraculously woke up in the middle of the night right after they announced the CGA market. I sent 20 CGA and .3 BTC over there. A few hours later I withdrew .6 BTC and 40 CGA and I still have .17 BTC and 8 CGA on the exchange.

So you are no longer a brokedummy  Grin

The calculation for CGA/Hash/Day is way off on MPOS:http://cga.inceptioncraft.net/mpos/ and MPOS:http://pool.webcoin.us/cga/
Please contact pool owners for a fix....  Let's not give false hope  Cry

Yes, we're aware and looking for a fix. I may just remove the estimate until I can make it be accurate.

Also, I don't see how it took me 2 hours to mine 1.26044699 CGA @ 13.5 Mhs and the top dog at mpos.cga.anomalypool.com with 28,201Khs can mine 212.995 CGA per day?  The calculation was likely correct (look a few post back for pic) but now it's not right either   Embarrassed

Thanks very much!!!

Due to the nature of this coin there will have to be some tweaking in the pools (if not complete removals of some sections) you can not accurately predict the amount of coins people will get because you can't predict how many coins are going to come into circulation.

Pool owners: Maybe we can figure out a way to display the probability of your pool generating an anomaly. That may be a step in the right direction. (maybe find tabjohn to help you out  Wink he is a mathematician) My guess it the fomula would be something like:

Overall Probability of generating an Anomaly = 1/Difficulty
Probability of the pool solving a block (not necessarily generating an anomaly) = Pool hashrate / Net hashrate
This is where I'm stuck... Is it 1/Diff * Poolhash/Nethash? or the other way around?

It should be like this, because both 1/diff and pool/net represent probabilities and should be multiplied in this case.
For the sake of clarity, it should be probably written like (1/Diff) * (Poolhash/Nethash), and if simplified - Poolhash/(Diff*Nethash)

I'm integrating this as a Work In Progress on my pool right now. You'll be able to see it as "Anomaly Probability" under "CGA Estimates" on your dashboard. It'll just say 0.00000 right now, since I haven't finished the backend code. Will edit/reply when I've finished.

derp! I wasn't thinking... (1/Diff) * (Poolhash/Nethash) is the same as (Poolhash/Nethash) * (1/Diff)

I am not trying to spam...I promise!!!

There is a list of coins being traded on the home page of Poloniex, CGA's icon is not on there!
Should we have the current coin design on there for now for exposure ?

IMO it'd be better to wait and have the new and improved logo appear on the front page!

No offense to whomever designed the original.
