Not too much demand yet, but I also don't think many people are interested in selling for .003 either. We'll probably slumber here for a while on very low volume.

Seems like this coin got added on AllCoin. Can someone tell me what makes this coin special and what the growth will be like in the future?

It's a new block reward algorithm, basically the supply of newly mined coins gets cut off if too many people try to mine it at the same time. Nobody knows what future growth will be like. It could become super popular next week and nobody will be able to mine anymore coins and we'll be at a 14,000 coin supply forever.

How did I miss the CGA giveaway on Poloniex?  Sad Got some MEOW though lol...
I'm sorry that was my fault.  Apparently they ran out in the first 2 hours of the exchange being out and I hadn't announced it yet Sad

CGA needs a new logo, the current one looks like shit. Offer a bounty or logo contest for a new one.

That + coinmarketcap = major spike in demand.

Gee thanks for the kind words ...

However, there is already a logo contest running with some great entries.

Edited to add, here is the voting thread: https://cryptocointalk.com/topic/5066-logo-contest-voting-poll/

The most natural way for sustainable demand is to make the coin circulate as currency, not just being used as investment asset - e.g. to be possible to spend it on goods and services.
Persuading businesses to accept it should probably be the next big step for CGA. This would be hard to achieve, but still - if the target is some niche where CGA could fit in naturally, the task may be a bit easier.
Of course, whether to go in that direction is up to Sawedoff to decide. It would require a lot of planning and community support, but my opinion is that even expressing such intent for the future would get CGA higher on the trustworthiness scale.

I totally agree. I've been thinking about selling original artwork (kinda like flark on cryptocointalk but it won't be fractals). Also, for the sake of exposure, I'm told that CGA will be included in a multiwallet. I can't disclose the details but you should see this multiwallet launched soon (I think).

Am I the only one that doesn't hate the original logo? Maybe I would like a different one more, but the current logo doesn't look that bad. I'm OK with it. All we really need is coinmarketcap and it's moontime.

I don't necessarily like it (and I created it!). But I do think people can do better than I. That being said I'm not sure if I am completely satisfied with the entries in our current contest...

No block reward in at least 15 minutes. Funny, I just got some CGA from anomaly p2pool just as I typed this and I haven't been mining there for hours. Strange no?

Yeah, only one or two I liked. I never voted but maybe let's extend the competition until we get some good ones.

Ya... I think I will. Unfortunately that means we have to wait longer for the new logo but I think it may be for the best.

Edit: Alright so this is what's going to happen. I'm going to reopen the contest to new entries. I'm going to remove the entries I feel don't really have a chance compared to the other current entries to reduce clutter. Then once we have more formidable entries I will create a new poll. Time span for entries have yet to be determined. Donation address will be re-posted.

Edit2: I won't be removing anyone's entries but will be more choosy when it comes to adding the entries to the poll.

The difficulty had spiked to 15 recently... This coin is becoming much more elusive.
