Give it access to private key in chunks of 64k at a time... He just asking for them until he get it all and put it back together... I was syncing my wallet to send BTC to cold storage... It is firewalled computer used only for this so I guess all this doesn't help at all with this bug.

I really trying hard to get this, but I can't. Was your wallet not encrypted ?
Surely if it was this would not be possible, even with this flaw ?

No idea...

No it was not encrypted as I never plan to have 1,6BTC in it and I have just set it up. Since we were in failsafe for so long and we had long payout queue we got that hi. It was encrypted in Ufasoft coin but this wallet doesn't work well any more with current size of blockchain so I export it to fresh Bitcoin-Qt and didn't got to encrypting it yet(it was on a computer for less then a week). I was sure computer is save since it is running only wallets and you can't access it of the net and it has own firewalled subnet... But when I was sending BTC off it first and last time Smiley I was about to set password but was called by girlfriend that she needs help with daughter and I just turn it off computer and forgot about it. It was turned on only 2 times and second time I was hacked...

My thoughts. I had a similar issue in the past, when I transfered the wallet from one client to another. For a long time (about 1 to 2 days) the new wallet showed a wrong balance until everything was properly sinced. So maybe it just takes a little more time.

Hey WK, will you be using the latest NMC address in MyEligius when you get around to the payment?

I've had to change my address yesterday after being unable to import a namecoinica paper wallet I was mining to... at this rate I'm never going to get my .bit address set up  Embarrassed

...obviously once this DDoS BS has subsided. Can't you use some of the Unicorn blood at all?

Thanks!

Yes it is entirely normal you will have bad luck sometimes. If you never had bad luck, that would be very abnormal.

I always find this an interesting read to put things in perspective;

1 round took 3 minutes, another took 8 hours - that's just the last 6 blocks...that's just how luck works sometimes....

How a brand new wallet can get emptied by some method involving OpenSSL, when you've said it's on a computer less than a week, behind a firewall, etc.  THAT makes no sense.

I'm starting to think 'bullshit'.

Wiz -- maybe the ddos attacks are nothing more than a distraction?  To keep you from noticing something much more sinister going on?

M

Thought about that, although I've double checked everything I can and haven't found anything crazy.

Maybe it's the same person/group that changed the NMC addresses and is frustrated they couldn't hack the BTC side so they're just attacking cause they're mad.

Just be sure that the paper wallet works as expected... as mentiond I've been mining NMC to a namecoinia paper wallet only to find out it won't import into namecoin-qt with importpirvkey{}  Angry

Question about payouts, last night I was waiting to get a payout during the 7+ hr block, I should have been paid out once that block completed according to the stats page. I just checked and it looks like my unpaid balance reset but I don't see a payout entry on the stats page. I don't have remote access to the address/wallet it pays to so I can't check right now for payment. Is this normal? Did the payment go out and my stats page isn't reflecting it? Also, are the main pools stats (newstats) updating? When I checked earlier it looked like they hadn't updated since the 4th.

Just finish scanning... Noting found by AVG and Malwarebites. And why would that be so impossible. It gets private key. I was just unlucky that I was found that quick... It might be something else but I have no idea what... I will do reinstall just in case and change all wallets... Should be solution no mater what is the reason...

When CGMiner says

Stratum from pool 0 detected new block

Pool 0 in my case is Eligius, does that mean the bitcoin network found a block or Eliguis found a block?
