The 769 gh's is being paid more because of backpay for mining shares of CPPSRB mining shares owed from slower rounds as you see it is under 100% you have a little over 5% in backpay shares owed to these miners so the pay will usually be higher depending on pool luck and what the pool can pay out as your other rig is running @100% paid shares and 100% is the max you can ever earn and have no shares owed so they have been paid the max earning of what paid shares are atm and not owed any backpay for mining shares of CPPSRB from slow rounds. When the pool doesn't find a block in allocated time the 100% will fall under to 99% 98% etc and mining shares that you could of gotten paid rollover and get paid out the next block so you earn the max pay per share you will then get paid for the work of the past block that took longer but was beyond the pay thresh hold of the past blocks of past shares if owed depending on how slow previous rounds were if there were no slow rounds during mining then you are owed nothing and you remain at 100% with no back pay as you earned full pay per share. If a round takes 3 hours to find a block and a block should be found in 2 hours? those extra mining shares that it took to find the block then get logged too cppsrb shelved shares then if the next block is found in 5 minutes instead of getting paid for just 5 minutes of mining shares you did you get paid for the extra hour of shares from the previous block or blocks from shelved shares of the past the 100% drops to 99% 98% etc then get paid during the next luckier rounds rounds if they fall below the 2 hour mark on luckier rounds and adds a extra .01 + from shelved shares or so depending on pool luck and what it can pay averaging out to max pay per share in the end.You wont ever get paid more than pay per share you did.
Thanks a lot for this detailled explanation!

Another day, another fail-safe.
Not sure I appreciate your tone, sir. Last fail-safe was 2014-05-15, 12 days ago. My code updates have made this a much less common occurrence than in the past. The problem is that when it does happen, if I'm not able to correct it quickly the backlog of shares it needs to process to catch up grows and it takes much longer to recover. I'm testing some new code that will allow the system to continue with auto payouts and balance updates and all during a failsafe, but doing so with limited capacity (holding some payouts to those potentially effected by a payout in an orphaned block's coinbase, for example) until I'm able to do my normal manual look-over of everything. This should also make catching up much quicker, since it will never really have fallen behind. This code is right behind the new and secure NMC payout code, which has been giving me a few headaches lately, but is very near completion. What events can cause the CPPSRB reward system to enter fail-safe mode ?
Many things, actually... the most common cause: a competing chain race that lasts more than a predetermined amount of time which results in Eligius being on the losing side of the chain (orphaned block that CPPSRB has no way of knowing about until after it has processed quite a few shares afterward). Others include some internal sanity check not passing when calculating the coinbase payout list and other critical items.

I'm working on code to automate the bulk of the process, minus the manual check and green light to continue. Should help things quite a bit.

Got some more work in on NMC code today.
I actually have it compiling the data for everyone from Mar 8 to present right now, but it will probably take all night. Hopefully everything works as expected and I can get the payouts done soon.

Only been mining for about 3 months but want to thank WK and Luke-Jr for the site. It may go into safe mode or have a glitch now and then but shares have always gone through. Hope my small donation, currently 1%, helps. Thanks guys!

Thanks for the work to keep the system up and running.
Since the last block we found, some 50 mins ago, our front-end/website has problems again, though the website has not yet gone to fail-safe. What I mean is that the website shows no queue at the moment. I was in the queue behind a 20 block wait, and now those blocks and my position is gone.
Again, I know this is just the website/frontend that has the problem, as the mining continues and shares are still being accepted, I just wanted to point the problem out since the failsafe has not triggered.

I agree, stats and payout seems to be stuck again. It's like being in fail-safe mode without being in it. M

Is there an issue with worker thread stats? Seems like graphing and display in details for different time-frames has stopped working. I restarted 2 workers, they connect and hash fine, but stats for them don't seem to be working?

We seem to be in failsafe mode without being in failsafe mode. M

Working on some server shuffling right now actually... and ended up triggering a failsafe and subsequent database catch up. Sorry guys. On a side note, the new NMC code should be done tonight if all goes well. As always, shares are always tallied so, no worries.
