The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

@Saturncoin,

Can you please explain how you get to 50,000,000,000 coins?

Every 30,000blocks there will be block halvering correct?

1 - 30,000          max 250,000      7,500,000,000 (max coins)
30,001 - 60,000  max 125,000       3,750,000,000 (max coins)
60,001 - 90,000  max  62,500        1,875,000,000 (max coins)

This is after 84 days a max number of coins of 13,125,000,000 in reality it will be more close to 7,000,000,000 as i believe that on average the block size is half of the max block size, even less.

Based on my calculation it looks more like a max number of coins of 20,000,000,000 and this will give a totally different image on saturn coin. Grumpy also made the same mistake, they thought that it was 50,000,000,000 but infact there will only be 20,000,000,000 in total.

@Saturn, can you please update the first page so that investors/miners understand were 50,000,000,000 is coming from.

@All, can someone please make a block explorer, i cannot believe that a coin with a decent community is not having a decent block explorer. If i know how to do it , i would do it myself.

1.- i agree with your questions to recheck total coins, as if its only 20 bill coins the coins would start to gain even more value.

2.- What are you talking about?   we do have a nice block explorer, another community member just finishd yesterday or day before and its already added to the resources :   http://saturnchain.net

Shocked     and pretty nice one, better than a lot of the other ones lol.

Have a great day

I am new here, but anyway.. I mined this coin for the past two weeks. I have a fair amount of them and I am starting to think it was a gigantic wasted effort.

1.) The developer hasn't posted here in five days (from what I can see)
2.) The Subreddit (which I posted on yesterday) is dead
3.) The Saturncoin website is incomplete and for the social links only Twitter is functioning
4.) The developer hasn't posted a word on Twitter in two weeks
5.) Coin has fallen from second place to 6th on MintPal in a matter of days.

What's the deal? A couple posts back and forth between a couple users does not a community (nor a coin) make. If there is 20bil total instead of 50bil total that looks amateurish as all hell that the developer hasn't figured that out by now.

I think it's at a point now where nothing has been done for so long (mining these has been so easy) - that even if there was a course correction and the developer was to do something in the way of getting a community - the amount that would be dumped continuously won't ever let this coin rise to its natural course.

My young friend, let me tell you one story. You know Kitteh, it was trading down, down, down, down, it even hit less then 1 satoshi, then suddenly something happened and it hit 120 satoshi. Same story for TIPS and MOON. Today your coins are maybe worthless, maybe next month still worth nothing, but suddenly it can give you a lot of money. In November i had a chat with someone that was mining Quark in August, he did it for one month, nothing happened, till the day that Quark jumped like crazy. He earned $30,000 on a shitcoin. We are altcoins, altcoins don't have a logic in their coin price. Never sell something that doesn't give you $8 per 1000kh/s per day.

+1

If i would have some more BTCs then i would certainly buy a lot at 2 satoshi. We have a lot less coins as Moon, and if indeed my calculations are correct then we will hit 20,000,000,000 only next year, and 50,000,000,000 in 10 years or so

@Saturncoin,

Grin I didn't notice that one, why is it not on the main page? As this one is still http://cryptexplorer.com/chain/SaturnCoin

If you got so much coins left, why dont you use it to hire someone to promote this coin?

I spoke to the creator of the coin with a proposal to promote Saturn, he ignored, we have to do on their own.
