It depends entirely on your target and financial strength.
Etheruem price is above $100 and so I think that most investors who doesn't have big capital will not be able to purchase a reasonable amount of etheruem, since it's more quantity you have more profit you get.
The ideal thing for such investors is to go for altcoins whose price are just below $1 for high profitability in the long run.

Hey guys what do you think? Is it better to hold ether or altcoins? I think alts are better because they can give you more profit, however it is quiet risky to hold them.
If you're a adventurous person, you can try investing in altcoin to have a memorable experience. I have also traded and invested in altcoins and it has never disappointed me. Although the risk is high, you just need to choose the right time to invest, you will get rich easily.  |

Correct me if Im wrong, because I know ethereum is altcoins too. If you choosing altcoins and ethereum you can buy ether and other coins depends on your capital. If the capital is very big you can buy more ethereum and do some search.

i recommend to invest in the altcoin with lowest price like the altcoin with rank 20 bottom.

They are still risky in holding both of them because of the current situation in the market that can lose our investments. But still I choose to invest in both Ether and some Altcoins because I am really looking forward to get a better earnings in different kind of currency and I think that strategy is a better idea of getting a profit.

Altcoin will bring you more profits because it does not need any conditions to be able to pump. But I recommend holding ETH because it has good foundation, large community, professional team.

I think it is great to hold both to get the most profit from them. I believe that altcoins have a much greater perspective to raise on the bullish market and I have no doubts that they will show a bigger pump as the main crypto currencies at the moment, because a lot of them have not even experienced any bull run.

I think that Ethereum is a promising coin. But I prefer to invest in other altcoins. I think that they have more potential for growth than Ethereum. Ethereum has a large capitalization and therefore it is more difficult for it to grow in value than altcoins.

I am the type that plays safe. so, I better invest in the long term like ethereum. because I don't believe in other altcoins, because a lot of altcoins are not stable like ethereum |

Actually , Ethereum is an altcoin too . Of course it have a larger trading volumes than most of other alts , but it still greatly depends on bitcoin price . So if you look for a less risky investment all altcoins are not a best choice . But altcoins could be very profitable and sometimes you can earn x2 on some altcoin in one single day . Trading altcoins, the most important thing is to understand exactly what you are doing, because the chance of losing all the money is very big
