Hey guys what do you think? Is it better to hold ether or altcoins? I think alts are better because they can give you more profit, however it is quiet risky to hold them.

If you haven't already understood clearly about this market yet, you should choose to invest Ethereum instead of other coins at this time

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

I believe that you should distribute your funds between different altcoins in order for your portfolio to be balanced. Only a balanced crypto-currency portfolio can bring you a steady income and reduce risk. Ethereum is a very promising cryptocurrency, but this does not mean that the project will continue to develop steadily in the future.

Ether is the father of all altcoins and it is definitely more stable as other coins. But some of its sons are growing rapidly and maybe would replace it one day, but they need to work hard to compete with Ethereum.

I believe one thing and that thing is that, both of them can be good, but because of too much projects without any good form, it is better we you don't even invest in altcoins, but also there are some highly reputable projects that will make much more profit than what Ethereum will give.

Yeah, I guess it's not a bad idea to invest small part of the deposit in small cap projects, which can bring extra profit. But they could bring losses as well and you never know for sure what project will outperform in a long term, so first of all diversify your investments.

If you make a qualitative analysis of projects before investing, this will greatly increase the chances of success. I would not chase the number of projects, it is better to concentrate on several of the most promising.  Wink

I think that investing in Ethereum looks safer than investing in other altcoins. But I think that other altcoins in the future may bring more profits than Ethereum, but this is more risky.
Agreed. If you buy at random, you'll lose more often than you make money. But with careful research you can safely outperform Ethereum.
ETH is an extremely solid bet though.

Do not forget that Ethereum seems to be altcoin too. Well, in general, if you have the opportunity to invest in a few coins, you should do so in order to minimize your losses in case of failure.

Ethereum is a very promising cryptocurrency, but this does not mean that the project will continue to develop steadily in the future.
Eth contract altcoins could help the community grow stronger specially when it was used at trading sites. The transaction fees is the main reason why eth increase a better demand. Although it wasn't a factor for the product to develop fast, but the possibility is there to happen all the time once cryptocurrency will soar up higher again like previous years ago. If massive adoption will become more trending and widely spreading all around the globe, that will be a certain factor to cause increase of profitable value for ether and other alts that belongs to the contract.

Any competent investor tries to redistribute their assets in such a way that their ratio can bring the maximum profit and at the same time does not pose any threat. Therefore, I advise you to have in your portfolio at least 30 percent ethereum, and the rest - other altcoins. This will be the best option.

It seems to me that we should invest in several coins at once. That is why I would recommend you to buy and Ether and other alternative coins.

Of course we don't fully invest only in new tokens or in addition to Ethereum with a large percentage because it would be better as you suggest, for example we also have a portfolio for Bitcoin a few percent then leave other parts for several altcoins under Ethereum for example randomly token You because by doing a system like that we can avoid big losses.

I think that Ethereum is not the only way and opportunity to invest. Yes, he is good-looking, but there are other promising altcoins. I believe in Ethereum and its technology I also invest in It, but I'm always looking for a promising opportunity to invest in other coins and tokens !

I can not give preference to something specific. Each coin is only a tool that you must use depending on the market situation. Now I like Ethereum the most.

ETH in any case will be able to be the first, especially among other projects that today for some reason in most cases stop the development of freedom. It seems to me that the whole thing is just not to deviate from the idea.
