Ether or altcoins?

I prefer you hold both Ether and other altcoins. This is because while holding other altcoins and you find another token/coins that as a bright future. You don't need to sell the altcoins you are holding, you can just buy the coins/tokens you are interested in with the Ethereum.

ethereum is now good, if you save it maybe you can develop it better, altcoin is the same - it's good now just look at the top 10 best coins if yesterday I saw ethereum in the top 2 from above and that's a good thing from ethereum,

ethereum also experiences good price increases now and may last a long time.

Explain, why at all to do choice? No one forbids to keep Ethereum and any other altcoins in any amount that you can afford, there is no sense to limit your investment opportunities

yes for me all coins have their respective potential and now all coins experience price increases, which in my opinion are getting better and whether ethereum or altcoin have good coin quality I am ethereum user and I am happy to use it until now I often use altcoin and ethereum, just people who want to choose which one.

Well ether to me is a good buy for long term hold. Then talking about altcoin, I think the market is down so investing in some wouldn't  be a bad buy but you must pick your coins carefully, coins with good use case.

you will get a larger benefit if you choose altcoin which was really good and can give you an advantage for you. If you select altcoin the ugly, you also lose your money aka. so be careful in choosing an asset.

One thing you should note first of all is that ethereum is an alternate coin. But to answer your question,  ethereum is not the only Coin that  you can invest in to earn profits. There are some well lucrative coins in the markets so I will advice you to diversify your portfolio. Dont invest in just 1 coin

yes alts can make you more profit, but it is risky because we never know how long can survive if we hold them, some of alts never increase it's a scam coin, so better to hold a trusted coins like ethereum.

Both of them because the Ethereum and the Altcoins needs each other. Nearly all coins using the ETH's platform so it wouldn't be possible living without it. Also if you invest the ETH what would you do next? Hodl and wait? If you want to make profit you have to trade, should go to altcoins market and try something there.

For me, there have been and will be the leaders of Bitcoin and Ethereum. There are a lot of other Altcoins and they are all different, but still they look like Ethereum. The course of ethereum is now low compared to that year, but I think this is temporary and soon it will grow significantly

It is better to hodl Eth for long term due to its volume and price. Also knowing that it is the 2nd in ranked in coinmarketcap which makes you feel at ease that it wont die easily like other altcoins that theres no guarantee that will lasts long.

i prefer the most is ethereum trusted  with a high volume, marketcap, with a great project, than other altcoins we dont know how long they can survive, ether or altcoims is not bigdeal all depend on your luck and skills to earn profit.

Some new projects become more stronger during 2018, so right now I would put more on altcoin market talking of getting more profits from the crypto.

before I answer your question, I just wanna say that Ethereum also include in altcoins. Coins except Bitcoin are altcoins. And for your question, i prefer to hold both of Ethereum and some altcoins with good future like Stellar, Ripple, and another top 50 coins. it's better to split your money than put it all in 1 coin.
