Much better to hold ethereum rather than holding alts,ethereum is one of the best coins in cryptocurrency and we all know that the market value of ethereum may not go down and has the potential to grow like bitcoin in the future.

I'd stick with ethereum, in the coming months I think ETH will grow to higher prices and if bitcoin goes on another run then ETH could return to its ATH

I believe it will grow but less likely to reach another all time high. This year I'm expecting a recover, a consistent one and I guess people are a big wary now so they will not just jump when there is a big pump. The big correction in the market that takes longer than expected, is what makes people more matured in the way they think, I guess. |

in my opinion, I prefer to choose some altcoins to invest but I also make some ether nvestment, sometimes large profits do not occur in one investment, you have to invest in several altcoins which you believe in the altcoin, indeed a little dangerous but this is the risk of investing

Definitely Ethereum. In fact, eth itself is an altcoin and owning eth you can profit of some opportunities to get some other alts when market is very low.
But on long term, eth is a better option as most of the other alts are just pure speculation, nothing more.

Ideally, keep both ETH and altcoins, thus you will be ready for any reversal. If we evaluate the chances for growth and stability, then of course ETH wins over the altcoins, but it’s not necessary to exclude the "Mr. Case", it is quite possible that some kind of altcoin will fly to the moon and thank you for your patience. So my opinion is that both ETH and altcoins are worthy of hold.

Alternative coins can give you benefits, but you also have to be patient. Investing in alternative coins is indeed risky, especially coins that have low volume. You also have to be smart in determining Altcoin that is good and has great potential.

Investing into altcoins is very dangerous and risky as some of them never rise up after dumping. I know so many altcoins that are very down now with no hope of ever rising again. It is better to invest in Ethereum which will definitely rise with time for you to make some profits of your investment other than holding a bag of worthless altcoins.

i think better to hold ethereum for mid/long term because it that most stable than any altcoin.
but if you want quick trading, altcoin is the best way,but also with risk too.

Altcoins in general. I with there would be a chance that any altcoin can replace Bitcoin, but by a market dominance of 53 percent, it is very optimistic. Eth will be the first mover and when it raises, all other altcoins will follow.

Do you also mean tokens with alt coins that are launched on Ethereum? Then I would go with Ethereum as any token on Ethereum might die, but Ethereum itself won't. |

seriously, I truly believe that ethereum can take a leading position in the cryptocurrency market. Of course, Bitcoin ethereum can show the best results on capitalization, but it can reach $ 20,000. |

Ether or altcoin or tokens that I think are the same, are has same risky. If you talk about the best coin recommendations for the long term HODL, the top 10 in coinmarketcap are the best including ether and bitcoin, for low risk nobody knows because depending on the price of bitcoin if the bitcoin price grows, all altcoin prices will also go up.
There is a big difference between ethereum and most other coins, most coins do not really have a lot of use but ethereum is a coin that is not only traded actively but it is used by a huge number of people around the world so if you are looking to keep a coin for the long term then ethereum is one of the best choices that you can make in this market. |
