Bought mine straight from bitmain's web site before Chinese new year ended, shipped over the weekend it looks like from MyUPS and should have it today. Given the large # of past buyers all around the forum and irc, I had no concerns about ordering one.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

@barwizi and ahmed_bodi

Just go to his website and email him.  I am not sure he will bother with you though.  He has really good rep and most of his customer actually tip him in addition to the sale price.
I am going to guess he has sold about 1800 of these and no one I know has gotten stiffed.  He stopped numbering his group buys but this has to be 10 or 11.

Sorry guys, i'm back online now.  Tracking numbers...  I will try to get them sooner

PSU wise, this do works great!

www.youtube.com/watch?v=r-75gSSB8M4

cosair 750 pulls about 460w at the wall but do works!

Wattage use wise, it's really depends on the PSU.  GOLD Cert PSU, it works well but the cheeper PSU tends to pull more at the wall.

What is the min. psu needed to power the S1? I had a 600W peak to peak, pos, bestbuy psu and it would turn off. I bought a 750w corsair and it works fine, but reading bitmain's site, it says "Power consumption: about 360 W from the wall". Just wondering what everyone else is running.

Corasair AX1200 not AX1200i

The corsair should be single rail and work fine.

That power consumption number is likely from a POS power supply with under 80% efficiency so these could draw less.   I'll post some killowatt pictures if I ever see an ant come in.

I just bought a bunch of AX1200i's. Did I screw up? What's the difference?

Edit: I just looked at Corsair's website and they don't have a listing for a AX1200, only the AX1200i.

Good, I'm hoping to run three S1's off each 1200i

So I think UPS is confused, the plane my shipment was on had the mechanical troubles like quite a few other people.
Anchorage, AK, United States    02/11/2014    11:02 A.M.   Arrival Scan
Shenzhen, China    02/11/2014    6:12 P.M.   Departure Scan
02/10/2014    10:54 P.M.   A flight delay occurred because of aircraft mechanical reasons. / Released by Clearing Agency. Now in-transit

But now it says that it will be delivered today, in Northern CA, how I am unsure.

I'm order 554 and haven't received any word from UPS. I'm hoping that's because I didn't setup MyUPS correctly and not because it hasn't shipped. I don't really want to bug sushi about it though because I spent all my coins on these miners and don't have any left to tip.

Make sure that you actually verified your account, it will either do the phone message or a list of questions to make sure you are who you say you are. If that is done, that the name Sushi had for shipping is exactly the same.

I did all that. I'll just have to continue waiting. Unfortunately time lost is coin lost.

I wonder if the drop in networking hashing rate is due to all the S1 being pulled for shipping

http://mining.thegenesisblock.com/

You can notice a very noticeable drop on feb 8 to the 9.

lol you wonder? Here let me help you with this (Yes these stats are Antminer)

But it picked right back up....?  I know they mine with these (or at least some of them) and then ship them.  I have bought 10 and one was used.  But I don't see how this stat page is a smoking gun.  Unless there is the argument that they replaced their own miners with new ones and shipped us the old ones.

my order number is 560 made on the 7th.  I paid right away.

so who has tracking for an order number close to 560?

I was hoping it shipped today the 11th.

I am a UPS choice member for years and get notices from them all the time.

If anyone is 540  to 570 with tracking from ups please let us know>
