Sorry I thought with all the links it was self explanatory. Removing the old irc code cleared up the virus warnings.

So is the current version 2.0 fine or do I need  to redownload again?  Or can I just leave it as is?

So this was just unused code hanging around taking up space?  I wonder how much of that is in there?

Nice its cleared up Smiley I guess the resultant assembly/binary for the library could have changed due to using an up to date compiler.

Our hard fork is on August 1st.

Is there anyone that can compile it for Mac? I thought someone was already working on it.

I'm working on it...but this is a fairly old coin with some VERY outdated code that just does not play nice with OS X.

I'm having to rewrite all of the OS X notification support code, and there is a 8 character macro definition that errors out being used all over the place.

As I'm not really a "dev" or part of the MintCoin team, and don't know of any bounty for a fresh mac compile, other projects are taking priority right now.

I'm not sure I understand correctly, everything going on with it, but If you already have a successful build, shouldn't we just release that working version of it now, so we can just get as many people on board with the new wallet as possible prior to the fork? As long as it is actually working, we can work on cleaning up the code later right? I'm just thinking if it something that can be cleaned up more later. Right now we really should get this released. We need to give people time to update. Does all of this need to be done prior to the fork?

It does need to be released before the 1st for Mac users.

Not really, it sounds like a problem with your toolchain.

I've compiled the wallet with minimal codebase changes. I'll release it for 25USD worth of anything, BTC preferred.

I'd feel more comfortable committing to this if I knew it was
a. virus free
b. actually working (get peer info is blank, and it's not syncing to network)
