A simple thought experiment.... What might happen to the price from here?
Current price you can get is 4 satoshi, with block reward halving each week for 5 weeks, you can double the price each week for it to keep up with cost of mining.
So....
Week 0 - 4 sat
Week 1 - 8 sat
Week 2 - 16 sat
Week 3 - 32 sat
Week 4 - 64 sat
Week 5 - 128 sat
If price stays in line with cost to acquire, then 128 satoshi after 5 weeks would not be unreasonable.
Of course maybe only get half this. But still a great return from here!

scarcity don't make the coin more valuable, demand make it, don't hold much hope for that price would be good if it reach 20-30, 120 is just ...unreal If demand stays the same then the price has to rise. |

Anyone who doesn't understand, just take a minute to read... +1 Trying to get to 50million before block halving.... It's not going too well  I'm just trying to hit 1Million here with my low power, while still trying to get at least a little bit of some other stuff, I may even fire up CPU mining before the first halving at this rate. How far from your mark are you? With this halving getting to a certain mark before the end is just going to get slower and slower. Hoping Mint really takes off, but I'd like to get at least 10 Vert as well before things pick up, with my low hash rate even splitting around in small amounts is going annoyingly slow. With mint's low power afterwards though it should be interesting after the first 5 weeks. Why Verts? Are you thinking this coin will take off again? I have triple amount of them and can't decide whether to convert those to MINT or not If this pans out http://www.reddit.com/r/vertcoin/comments/1xpjww/thanks_to_moolah_hopefully_today_shops_will_now/ it will help it's value. I can only mine like .6 vert a day I'd like like to hold onto at least 10, preferably 20, too busy with Mint before the first halving for now though. |

One exchange i would like us to try and work with, as it is a exchange for the future is: Mcxnow. If we were to get on there we would be golden. 2nd, I'd like to see more services for mint, games, shops, whatever you have, accept Mint on it . I'm willing to give out a couple of 100K's for any progress on this front, And dev, if you need any help with promoting, making sure things happen etc, dont hesitate to contact me, I love the idea of this coin. I don't think this is unrealistic, but with all the coins on the market in 5 weeks (then POS coins after) the price will have a difficult time climbing because of the whales ability to sell. Any slight increases, you will see a large dump of coins and slow down the demand. Not that I want this to happen, but all the whales will have breaking points and dumping at certain levels. After 6 months, I could see it becoming desirable. That's just my 2 cents tho.... |

I have a better strategy: dump at 4 satoshi (yes its late now) rebuy at 1 or 2 satoshi (yes its risky) wait a while... and make a profit  A whale way: dump the price to zero (using 20 BTC) wait buy them all (using 30 BTC) wait pump the price (using 20 BTC) make artifical lack of coins... and when price skyrockets, just sell them all (receiving 100-1000 BTC) |

Well theoretically if could fall far below 1 Satoshi and not be tradeable to BTC, the horrors should it hit 0.00000001 devcoin or something. Not going to happen, but the point remains. |

Just because of block half doesnt mean its going up.
I think the mechanics of this coins are pretty rare tbh. After 5 weeks it's pretty much impossible to dump the price. Or atleast that big miners dump... Dumping wont happen as often and maybe Dev could start some donation or event where everyone plants a mint herb! |

They are. After a coin is in your wallet for 20 days you've proven your stake and new coins are "minted" by the wallet's miner process. |

I dont trust the exchanges it's at atm and I need to withdraw some BTC right now. My PSU on mining rig just burned and with it 2 280x and mobo...
