However, I have learned something.
Financial regulation is a necessity, cryptocurrencies will never work.

I don't if there is some kind of language difficulty or something with you
but there is clearly an issue here with the mintcoin development team that needs to be resolved before they can be trusted.
I wouldn't download anything they are involved with until this is resolved, but if you want to go right ahead. Must have been a language difficulty Last version is 1.10. It was done by presstab, mintcointeam attributed it to itself. I try compiling from source from mintcoin project repo and the repo did not have 1.10 since the start was still very slow and the blockchain was compatible (whilst it is supposed not to be compatible with 1.10) Then I moved to presstab's code. I know him well from TEK and now HYP (we are co-dev on this one), I am even the one who proposed presstab for helping with code. So I compiled with his git repo and it worked flawlessly (well, I am still synchronizing the blockchain but otherwise, no complaint). So : - trust: checked - working: checked - latest code: checked I'll talk with presstab and cryptomummy about submitting a PR (push request, merging presstab's code with mintcoin-project code).

I think there is still some sort of difficulty, because how is any of that relevant to the problem of not knowing who the development team is or how they got ahold of of the reins?
Sounds like you guys are planning a hard fork and there is no telling where that will lead, certainly no where good.
I have a large stash and I'm not joining any forks. My advice is for other mintpac holdouts to do the same so we can maintain the integrity of the current blockchain.
There are 60 or so people supporting the network, hopefully the majority of them will not be taken in by any of this and can maintain the coin.

First of all thanks Crypto Mommy for taking up this coin development on your shoulders and bringing out more clarity here ! Thanks David Latapie for still caring for the coin and working for it (NGO registration) and my only personal view, i would not mind you taking all premine if left for that NGO registration (Verified) as got into Mintcoin just for that reason only ! Only thing is clarity of usage which was missing before ! Even wanted to thank presstab and dallas5 for their efforts !

Well, thanks for the encouragement There is no premine left, save the part for the two bounties and I will certainly not take them I hope presstab and dallas5 will pass by to read your thanks. Regarding the push request: I was wrong, the code was merged, so ignore all of my "presstab repository" rambling. Apologies for the confusion it generated.

more sock puppetry instead of dealing with legitimate concerns about the identity of the "new development team", who promised transparency and now seeks to ignore requests for the same.

I agree transparency is a must here and the more transparent this development team be is equal to more donations for team (Specially myself would donate) and more strong this community would be ! So lets see !

No one knows who Satoshi really is, but everyone stills hails him as an innovator and father of cryptocurrency. The transparency discussed was transparency about what is being done with the coin and how development is being handled. Part of cryptocurrency is anonymity. I understand why CryptoMommy doesn't want to put more of their personal information out there than she already has.

I understand why CryptoMommy doesn't want to put more of their personal information out there than she already has. I don't understand it at all. Especially considering that it was they themselves whom said they wanted to be transparent. Anonymity and transparency simply are not compatible. Anonymity is not currency a factor with btc or mint. Neither are anonymous currencies, nor are they meant to be. We've already seen what anonymous development is about. Until they want to step up and clearly identify themselves they are not to be trusted. Especially in light of the fact that they said the wanted transparency and then when asked to step up and show it they immediately bailed. Anyone who wants to stand with me can retain wallet version 1.10 and support the current network. I will not be cooperating or working with "crypotmommy" in any way

more sock puppets lol Holy shit dude! We get it already! Your "concerns" (read "trolling") aren't doing anyone in this community any damn good! Seems you're the one who wants to make damned sure this coin doesn't get resurrected. Drop it already! PM these people, and leave it out of here. You're quite the nagger and instigator... and it isn't necessary, it isn't helpful, and it damned sure isn't appreciated. (Don't mean to speak for everyone - sorry, but this isn't good) This is what we have now. And right now, it's a damned sight better than what we had. I for one trust both Jessica and David. And until something happens to change that, all I'm concerned with is moving forward... er, UP! Why FUD now??? Damn - just be smart with your stash. It ain't worth a hell of a lot right now anyway. But drive it into the ground with all this divisive, accusatory nonsense, and it'll damn sure be worth nada.

I for one trust both Jessica and David. desperation is making you foolish I am wondering what you hope to accomplish by getting cryptomommy's full identity?? Are you worried that she will post the wrong thing on twitter or something?? All she has is access to social media accounts and the website correct?
