ok, i follow this discussion about the 3K cars since yesterday. In the whitepaper I could find this number, but not whether it will be own cars or vehicles of partner companies. But I read that they start in Manila in October. So we will know it then at the latest

You do have a point but at same time, it depends on the population of the specific area that tachain tends to start and lets not forget that there are states/counties within a particular country, so i don't see it as much, human activities is on a daily basis and backed with their awareness, i believe commuters will be keen to test out what the brand has to offer

I really don't think this should be a concern. For one they could just opt for a model similar to uber. They just pay car drivers for their efforts and that is about it. They really don't have to own any cars.

As of now UBER is a 5.9Billion dollar Company!
They are in it for a long time, but they dont have vehicles of their own!
Tachain is similar with more Advanced feature!
where they integrate a Advertising Platform!
This will help the lower cost for a Rider.
So Buying that car is not necessary if they managed to get some partnership!
but if they can buy then its simply amazing!

could be, but you also have to consider that they are a startup which they are trying to win the market over so thre is the possibility that they are not going to roll the 3k cays at once it probably gonna be a gradual process. i guess

I remember yesterday someone was talking about them being operational in the US and the Philippines. I've asked and they are not operational yet as they are just progressing with the sale. So that information is not correct. However their first operations will commence from Manila next year.

We got the information that the app is available, but you can only sign up with a phone number from the US or Philippines. and since they have not yet started in the US, we all had the assumption that the APP is already being used in the Philippines. If that is not the case, then I apologize for my impatient questions about the app :-)

That's what I was thinking, why Tachain wants to invest money in buying cars. That will be huge investment at Start and how they are going to expand operations on other countries if they spend money on buying cars

I don't read in the white paper they will have their own cars, but they will be introducing the application taichan in the Filipine country, and will start there.

I guess that application already started there and i am also waiting for feedback if anyone has used it.
