I remember yesterday someone was talking about them being operational in the US and the Philippines. I've asked and they are not operational yet as they are just progressing with the sale. So that information is not correct. However their first operations will commence from Manila next year.

We got the information that the app is available, but you can only sign up with a phone number from the US or Philippines. and since they have not yet started in the US, we all had the assumption that the APP is already being used in the Philippines. If that is not the case, then I apologize for my impatient questions about the app :-)

Yes it means connecting to cars, they aren't running their own taxi company their not going to buy a fleet of 3000 cars, think more uber and less yellow cab as i understand it

I don't know where this buying of cars started. that too 3000 cars. It should be complete misunderstanding. There will be some kind of partnership with taxi companies I Believe.

its not possible for a company to buy 3000cars as startup process!
but they could be partnering with the Car and Taxi agencies with their proposal and make that happen and i'm sure it will!!

My thoughts exactly, i was wondering how they are going to get 3000 cars at a start just like that. That can cost them the whole investment money.

Yep I’ve seen enough projects fail because they didn’t put effort into building a strong network around their own product and that’s the only way they can succeed longterm

I was watch a video of one guy teach a particular topic and he said something that business aught to be able to scale, make good alliance and network with other businesses that are into  there niche.  Networking is a very good and strong part of marketing.

That is a must in any start up the team should be able to scale and be able to get and land partnerships. The interpersonal skills matter in the early days of any business.

The networking will help them get in touch with a wider range of people and be known through the connection of whomever they've partnered with. They will be able to easily tap into various networks of people

3000 cars is a lot and that’s good. Would the team be responsible for the purchase or would it come for partnership with a transportation firm? I think the team should focus on partnerships, would be more profitable.

3000 cars ? They bought cars? But then what about hiring drivers? It's not easy to find that many drivers in short time. But I think Tachain team might have started hiring process even before buying cars.

I have been following this thread and it baffles me that i missed this, 3000 is indeed a lot but lets look at it from another angle, imagine taking off 3000 individuals from the streets, that's empowerment and commendable, so getting such drivers will be much easy because there are jobless individuals who will rush such opportunity

Well ya thats why i'm always saying that it's important for projects like this to network and build connections networking is what will eventually be what truly drives this industry and projects that stop fighting and work together to grow the overall crypto industry

i think so too, buying 3000 cars would be insane when its very easy to connect them to the app. If they can make it work a lot of taxis and busses and maybe even planes in the future will be connected

I agree,  buying 3000 cars and then hiring 3000+ driver is not easy.  Even Uber and other not burying any car.  So I think they will be in contract with existing taxi companies.

Well I was reading about this model and apparently there are many successful models where the business owns its fleet. When I say own it does not necessarily mean fully owning rather leasing the cars. Now it does not mean that tachain is doing that; they may be better off just doing it the uber way.

They will build Partnership with Car/Taxi Agencies!
Buying this many Car from ICO funds is impossible as they'll be Using those money to marketing+legal authorizations and developing their app and team more and more! and thats gonna cost fortune!

Yeah, The only thing they can do now is to hire drivers from different taxi or cab companies. But they will going to start on Asia I know it will be easy to find something like that here.

I believe all this are in the pipeline of course you can't run this type of business successfully without compliance to certain laws and policy of the home country...

of course, I thought the same thing, I think they're working with some great and then taxi company for starters they will place and run the application Taichan on 3000 taxi in the city of Manila in the Philippines.
I don't read in the white paper they will have their own cars, but they will be introducing the application taichan in the Filipine country, and will start there.

i think they have sorted out this before startup as it is the most important thing!
However i think they'll be using ICO Funds to Control all legal stuff and Marketing!
And yes they should start doing that already!even if they are doing that a official announcement will be just amazing
