yeah, from what everyone has been talking about in here, and from what the team have been saying that was the impression I got? The app just looks like a UI that links to the Lyft api or something as it uses lyft drivers?

According to the whitepaper the app exist of 3 elements. The transportal app (“Tachain Transportal” was released on IoS), the advertising platform “Tachain AdNet" and the token exchange marketplace “Tachain TMARQ”.

Be good to get an official word on their plan for releasing each element of the app. I guess they're breaking it into phases and phase 1 is just the core needed to book a taxi.

Wait, so is that going to be separate apps, or is it going to be features of the current IOS that they will role out in the future sometime as updates?  It's not very clear tbh.

I think he means that they will add stuff on the App in every update, but the question know is when will they update the App so we can earn some THCN.

Exactly, but did you observed one more thing? That app is available in three different language English, German and Russian which is good for app users.

I think they other two foreign languages are where they feel they have bulk of their investors and followers. Or maybe top visitor's stat

Yeah I agree or at least allow users to see the menu without needing to sign up with a telephone number, it would be great to see what it looks like and whether it runs smoothly or not.

I think Tachain should partner up with Adbank and Datum, I feel like Tachain is kind of a hybrid of these two, datum rewards people for selling their own data (tachain rewards people for selling their time) and adbank helps companies spend their ad budget better

i feel tachain wants to create their own platform and they wouldn't want to use existing blockchain project i think all we need to do is watch them

It sounds funny but its not wrong the fact is corporations sharing infrastructure sometimes becomes a big issue, especially if they all end up wanting slightly different things out of the infrastructure, the issue is trying to see down the road 2-5-10 years from now and figure out what problems might pop up and being able to adapt

Well it’s going to work like Lyft/Uber so I get why they need your number if you’re setting up an account. But you’re right I don’t understand why Tachain need your number just so you access the app, really frustrating. Especially if you have invested in the project and you can’t actually view the app properly.

This is rather done as a means of protection against bots and not to load the server. I think for those who want to test it is always possible to take services on the Internet where you can send to the message numbers. After the first few dozen people will appreciate you can be tested through email or accounts in social networks.

I honestly don't think it would matter if they are using lyft because that is not really their selling proposition I think the difficult or tricky part is getting traction to the app.

I do not understand why the app has been translated into German and Russian. You can not use them in these countries yet. And it will probably be a long time before it happens.

I dont say they need to use the same platform, with AION they could very easily operate between all different blockchains without any problems. What I'm saying is they could benefit from each other because they all solve a problem the others will face as well.

I dont say they need to use the same platform, with AION they could very easily operate between all different blockchains without any problems. What I'm saying is they could benefit from each other because they all solve a problem the others will face as well.

I don't think they need to; they could just use ethereum or any other chain and that is it; They are providing a utility not a technology. Also I think much of the operations are going to be offchain for fast transaction?

Well that's just it ... we currently watch ads for free. Well in reality on platforms like facebook it's in return for our data but in essence it's like it's free. So to be able to earn that's great and if can go towards my transport, perfect

But you don't gain anything from the ads you watch. Plus I think the niche they are after is very specific to transportation so you might end up with a bigger vision of within cars implementations for example. in that sense they could supply taxi drivers with smart meters where ads can be shown.

I don't understand, as in the adverts that will be relayed on the platform will be strictly related to the taxi niche?, i thought it will be more of on a vast approach on different niches and how then will users earn by watching the adverts?, i need to grasp this aspect properly and understand how the process of earning through the token works

The adverts will probably cover all industries if you look at the companies that Eric Van Loon (COO) has worked with on ad campaigns with his other company (Samsung, BA, etc) some of these could also use Tachain’s services.

Thanks for the clarification, that got me really confused because it will be a good thing for the platform not to focus or think of creating specific adverts, a general advert creates room for broader spectrum and revenue generation, i don't see the need of them becoming and advertising platform if it was a thing of specification, glad it isn't
