I read in an article that they will be  a split launcher,  the IOS Dev. would be first and in a much later time the ANDROID would be rolled out,  so for we who are not on the IOS platform yet would sit and just watch and learn through other means.

Good news, thank you! I think many people among your target audience use Android smartphones. Especially in Asia where the major part of market is occupied with China brands with Android based MIUI operating system.

Exactly that! It's more likely that the team are not big enough to be able to split resources to iOS dev and Android dev. Like most apps who have to do a split launch, iOS generally gets first release and then Android after.

This article proved to me how advertising in transport sector is shaping the future of different agencies, and companies, I didn't know that Taxi ad could be rewarding career.

In London, we have Hackney Carriages which are a type of taxi that are very famous across the world. A lot of these taxis now have advertisements printed on them and this is a good example of taxi advertisments, I know this is a more traditional form of advertising but this shows how long this industry has been around for.

well, the beautiful thing about tachain is that there is gonna be on a screen which means a lot of advertisement can be shown to passengers i think tachain is innovating an old industry

I would recommend that Tachain can have advertisements printed on Taxis or have digital screens mounted around cardinal points of the vehicles and this is a good example of taxi advertisments, Im aware this is a more traditional way of advertising but this shows how long this industry has stayed and have become part of our daily needs, branding is key.

I agree a lot of people reviewed the App that came out on Ios this month, i think they should analyze the problems those people found and try to solve them this would make the app better and increase the amount of people that use it.

Ya I think when it comes to blockchain projects people seem to put undue pressure on project managers and teams to meet crazy artificial deadlines instead of giving teams the time they need to make a solid product that can actually go places and grow

Yes but I do think that it is partially the projects fault, they set these unrealistic time frames and then when they don’t hit their targets they think their investors should just stay quiet and not complain. I’m very disappointed with the lack of updates from Tachain about the apps.

I just noticed that, i think id prefer if the team set expectations that are too long, then they beat them than try and make people happy with a short road-map and miss the targets.

Exactly it’s hard to keep up with a roadmap if they designed it for the sole purpose to impress people with their speed and efficiency, because it backfires and makes them look bad if they miss deadlines or deliver late. I personally have no problem with it as long as the development of the project is compliant and high quality, but not everyone is as patient as I am.

I'm wondering why up till now there haven't been much campaign about the new app.  This is lapses,  the new app should be unveiled with rigid ad and promotion, this is a big deal, why not promote it yet?

According to their roadmap after the release of the Android app they will start on the Adnet platform in 2019 is it possible they could start earlier?

From what I can see within this thread, I highly suspect they will be ahead of their roadmap - well I atleast hope so anyway

I don't think so they will change their schedule. Till the date they are following their roadmap so I guess in future also they strictly follow their roadmap.

I don't think following the roadmap strictly is a possibility with any business as there are many factors that could impact the business direction and there are many uncertainties that can only unfold as time passes. Deviating from the roadmap is expected but not to the extreme ends, say the product is meant to be rolled out in 20 it instead became 25 days but not a year later.

What exactly do you want to say? As they said about iOS app release in last month and they did it. Now we are waiting for android app which is they will be released in this month.

This waiting time is really horrible. They should have released both iOS and Android at same time. I just cannot wait anymore for the Android App. Please make it fast team...

Yea, i get your point but at same time, we should understand that issues may come up, no matter how prepared they are, there are just circumstance that may arise which we as humans have no control over it but when it becomes an issue is when it takes a much longer approach by the team to rectify the problem, that may raise a lot of dust in the community

Do you live in the Philippines or in the USA? If not, you will not be able to use the app because you need a phone number in those countries to unlock the app. In Europe, we'll probably have to wait longer for the app to be available

I took some study in app development and I know for sure it's not a small feat especially in the area of security of the app, you don't want to release that's with security breaches you know

I took some study in app development and I know for sure it's not a small feat especially in the area of security of the app, you don't want to release that's with security breaches you know

Trust me, I used to develop games for both iOS and Android, unless they use an SDK which allows easy port overs, the 2 apps will be uniquely coded, this takes time, you just need a little patience, it's coming.

It depends on the platform things like electron are pretty standard now so standardized features and framework for mobile development basically do a lot to make featuresets equal
