I doubt that we will be able to repeat last year's growth this year. Now the market is cleansing of those people who bought for expensive. I am bullish on cryptocurrencies in general. Right now most of the trading is about the systemic risks of regulation which is why you see all the currencies rising and falling together. I have two things I am looking for to happen in 2018. I hope to see a decoupling of coins as the regulatory environment becomes more clear. In my opinion Ethereum has a much more compelling use case than Bitcoin and I think the current correlation harms Ethereum. The other thing I hope to see is institutional money starting to be invested. I don't think we will see a repeat of the rapid rise in coin prices we saw in 2017, but I do think we are at the begining of a multi year bull market for cryptocurrencies that will see most of them reaching new highs.

Ad far as I know the potential of eth comes from other projects using its smart contracts and not projects/cryptos developing their own blockchains....so as long as ico keep using eth smart contracts translate s into ready support for Ethereum and those myths you mentioned  will remain as such because the crypto market and its users have matured and we wont have those volatile days of crypto as we did before.

It's possible and why not? Last week we have seena  little bullish in the crypto and that can give us the last hope about the possibility of crypto to get another bullish trend in the future. actually pal there's a tends always of market to bullish, but unfortunately during bullish opposite always happened as well suddenly especially when the price is of market constantly increasing which due to some players who gaining quick profits and some issue. And in my view sad to say  it's impossible now to have an ATH again if this such issues always interrupt on every  progress of market.

Iam also researched about this bad situation of cryptocurrency market. So i find this season is generally normal and bad for btc and altcoins. I think end of year altcoins and btc markets will price up.

I cannot really comment on other currencies but one thing is for sure, cryptocurrencies are really great if you go for the right coins like PRG, EOS and NEO. They are excellent in earnings and profits.

It is really not a good year for me because seeing the market in this situation really hurts knowing also that your profit is cutting into tiny pieces. But my speculation maybe in november or december market will recover and bitcoin also the eth will come back to its high price or value.
