My account was verified basic and enhanced, I used bittrex last 3+ months. Ive deposited, withdraw and trade.
Recently I realized i cant withdraw and when I checked in settings it says i havent verified it (basic or enhanced) which is a lie.
i cant withdraw my balance.

Is this a scam?

Have users with legacy accounts encountered any withdrawal problems recently? I have a legacy account and it says I can withdraw 1337 BTC a day, and I have withdrawn 10+ BTC on numerous occasions with no problems. But since yesterday when I log in I get automatically redirected over to the Basic Verification page that has a warning on the top saying "Unverified accounts cannot withdraw from Bittrex". Although when I go to my account summary it still says that my limit is 1337 BTC and the account type is still "Legacy". So I'm wondering if anything has changed in the past few days regarding unverified "legacy" accounts.

Hey, Hatcher. Me also had 'legacy 1337.' Got knocked back ages ago on a Verification -- I live in an old farmhouse, and Bittrex blah blah 'public records verification -- no!' When Btc spiked, I got the prod to go to Enhanced V. Stuffed it up the first time. Did it more patiently the second. Went through okay.

I had the sense that the price spike somehow triggered the calls for updates.

My account was enhanced, Im from Chile, 3 month old account.
My account now is unable to withdraw or trade !

Imho even Poloniex didn't mess it up this bad.

I see at least 3 places at Bittrex with different withdraw limits / information.
They will spend a lot of effort answering the tickets, pass verification and so on. And I expect they'll also lose quite a big number of customers (some legit and pissed off, some not legit).
Quite shame, I really liked this exchange.

For me this Desaster sounds very much like the US Government is collecting/blocking the funds that belongs to countries they consider enemies. It's no coincidence that  most of the accounts that were closed without notice are from Iran, Russia, Turkey, Syria. Bittrex probably has to play along or the will be closed.

Nothing confirmed of course, but I would not be surprised if this is the case. The US is the biggest rogue state after all.

Same problem here.

Until yesterday everything ok, legacy account with 2fa enabled, 16 eth deposited from my mining activities.

Yesterday morning login on my account and they ask me to verify my account.

Ok, no problem, perform enhanced verification procedure, all right my account is now enhanced.

Ask me for a selfie with my face, personal id and a paper with write bittrex and yesterday date.

Not another reply from support, now wait for another news.

I still can't believe I am reading all these messages. I thought it was because my account wasn't enhanced verified. I got exactly the same messages as the above and did exactly the same thing. OMG...am I going to lose the btc I have been building for the past 2 months, all my hard work and 8 days before the hard fork...I can't sell my coins, I can't withdraw btc or any of my altcoins and I have missed out on really good trades due to their incompetence. Really??? Is there absolutely nothing I can do but wait until they decide to enable my account???

Right. When things changed on poloniex, I moved to bittrex but seeing how bittrex handled this, It seems poloniex is less worse but still it doesn't guarantee that poloniex will stay as it is. I have a huge feeling that it will or rather almost all exchanges will continue to change their terms as they'll be subjected to our laws because cryptocurrencies attracting more and more eyes.

I'm a verified account on our local exchange here (government ID+selfie with it) so I don't mind verifying my account as long as bittrex proves their credibility.
PS: Our government regulates cryptocoins so its required here for users to be subjected on KYC and AML although unlike everyone else they have a good and reliable support and they are the most popular local exchange here.

According to the Bittrex terms, For accounts valued at over $1k they require additional info as proof of identity. Bittrex is upping their security this is good for the most of people. Just follow the instructions and you'll be fine.

I am from Iran. My account is disabled without any warning. Seems that all accounts in Iran are disabled and  it is related to political issues. This happened after Trump spoke against my country. It is really unfair that I lose my money. I have made a lot of effort to earn them.
