People keep saying bitcoins is dead, maybe because the price of bitcoin keep decrease from last month. and it's never back up to $450++ since now. but i think bitcoin will not dead for this year.
lol who people saying dead because prices down from the previous price, it's obvious you still do not understand about bitcoin, rising and falling prices like this are not common in bitcoin, just because the price of bitcoin fell, you can't said that bitcoin will die Also this situation is not limited to bitcoin How many countries are out there that do not use the dollar or the euro and go everyday through the same situation? Nothing new and neither the dollar or the euro died. |

Exactly. It's the easiest scheme. Create a panic and then benefit from it. It's smart and easy. And people always fall for it.
People never fall for a thing that is repeated for 93 times. People are not as stupid as few years ago when bitcoin was still next to nothing, people got its own thought about bitcoin's future so even if some group of people trying to spread panic by spreading this kinds of news then it will affect nothing at all I think the way it still managed to make people feel fear and panic You remember when the news about bitcoin will be divided into 2, xt and core it was very successful for a lot of people panic and sell all their bitcoin |

Bitcoin will not die for a long time, maybe eventually it will be replaced or given a faster blockchain but the whole concept of Bitcoin and what it can do has created a generation of people who are now able to boldly think outside the corporate machine and create new fiscal realities for themselves and for future generations.

Because they now include very negative about it. The price of Bitcoin is clear now very low and they therefore think it is very bad, etc.

For me it's because it hasn't become a household name and the average people actually has a very bad image from the negative press it has accumulated through the years. That will not change sadly and it'll only get worse in my opinion. To go back to my first issue, Bitcoin usability is horrible and just can't attract interest from common people, it's just too complicated. It won't remain valuable forever just because a small % of the population "likes" the idea, it needs to be demanded and actually used for something by a good chunk of the population. It can be anything but it needs to be used regularly, for example for paying parking tickets, digital goods, games, apps, large transactions, whatever.
It hasn't for most people, Paypal and CCs are much simpler and yes, cheaper, you don't have to convert fiat twice and lose in the exchange.

You also gotta admit it's a difficult trend for btc.
After a huge rise we're all waiting for some kind of better adoption, but without the system around it'll be hard...
BTC scaling is really a big problem right now, I'm pretty sure it's responsible for the rumours and the low price.

Yeah, thats right, I think people want to manipulate the price of bitcoins by spreading negative news related bitcoins by saying that it is dead, so people will get panic and sell their coins at lower prices and the big fishes can take advantage of it. |

Yeah, thats right, I think people want to manipulate the price of bitcoins by spreading negative news related bitcoins by saying that it is dead, so people will get panic and sell their coins at lower prices and the big fishes can take advantage of it. News channels and press and media is also responsible for making feel that bitcoin is dead, as press and media has always made the negative publicity of bitcoins and people just got carried away with the news that they listened. |

they keep saying that because they are seeing the community can not agree upon one opinion regarding the block size and the are ruining the bitcoin by themselves. They do not mead by dead that its dead now but it can not continue living with these conflicts and disagreements

Bitcoin is not exactly dead - and probably won't be ever (or at least in the near future). But the amount of progress we are seeing in bitcoin community and development is disappointing for many people.
Recent Mike Haern dramatic leave is the prime example of that mindset. How people can believe in bitcoin if on of the core developers says BTC is failed experiment?
