Honestly almost all saying that bitcoin willl be dead is member of other crypto or they are holding an altcoin..
So i think they are just hijacking people to use altcoin instead of using bitcoin.. it a market strategy..
This is not a strategy, but a real deception. I understand that every customer lure in any way, but this method must be at least decent. nope I think the main reason for someone use altcoin at this time is because they do altcoin trade. although they use altcoin. but will they conversion is to bitcoin? so even though they hold altcoin their purpose remains one. that is bitcoin That's true and altcoin trading allows them to make quick profits but once they are done with trading they will definitely convert it to bitcoin as bitcoin is too big in compare to other coins. For some trading in altcoins is so profitable because of the dump and pump game, it is easy to spot which coins or token that would have a good pump and dump game and if you can already know the trend you can easily make profit from it. After the price dump, the traders want to buy the bitcoin, they will troll bitcoin and push the price down further to buy more bitcoins. I think the only people who are less experienced who follow that issue, and then panic just because of this false news? I think you have to believe in yourself. do reasearch before doing something like selling or buying dude. it s will be better |

If there is no development, it will be replaced by other coins. Other coins don't quite cut it yet. That's probably one of the reasons we don't see active development going on in Bitcoin. For example, the talks of increasing the infamous block size have been all over the place for more than a year already, but talk is cheap and things haven't budged an inch since then. On the other hand, if some coin shows real promise, devs may start migrating to it, leaving Bitcoin where it is... If they haven't done so already |

There are so many bitcoin haters you know, they defame bitcoin as ponzi scam, or multi-level marketing scam(many Chinese said this when i saw the news comments)
Bitcoin is never dead, even after mtgox hack case, bitfinex hack case, FBI sales so many mega dumps, and bitcoin is coming back after dumping.

My strong understanding for the term "BTC IS DEAD" is related to mining them. Yes BTC has been long dead for miners with no equipments to mine them as it is now very hard just to get 1 BTC even if you are in a mining pool. And that is according to my knowledge and experience in BTC, I don't if there are other meanings to it.

My strong understanding for the term "BTC IS DEAD" is related to mining them. Yes BTC has been long dead for miners with no equipments to mine them as it is now very hard just to get 1 BTC even if you are in a mining pool. And that is according to my knowledge and experience in BTC, I don't if there are other meanings to it.
This logic is flawed since every ten minutes on average 12.5 bitcoins are mined. Someone is evidently mining them, and we know that these are mining pools that consist of individual miners. Thereby, Bitcoin mining is not dead, by any means or to any extent... But this doesn't mean that it might not be dead for you personally, of course |

Most people are just looking at the price movement perspective and i don't think that reflects the actual scenario. A broader look should be towards the adoption rate and the infrastructure build around the payment system
