Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?!

No one knows why people are saying this, they are not believing in the bitcoin anymore and want to hate on the bitcoin.
I think its just a matter of time they will get back in it again, their are just hating on the bitcoin this is how bitcoin get a bad name.

Some of them has a doubt about bitcoin, and some of them are butt hurt when they buy at a high price and the price go low... But of course, they will be back, I think they are still watching the price so they are still interested..  

I have to disagree with you: much like most of the others I agree that people who claim that BTC is dead are mostly bears who hope to buy at a cheap price. They don't have to be butthurt to be bears. They only have to know that at a certain time the price is high and will mostly go down at least a little. So they sell, claim that BTC is dead and then when the price goes lower they buy back.
Go ask Mike Hearn. He can teach you that.

Yeah, they are just spreading negative news related to bitcoins, so that they can speculate the price of bitcoins and make a good profit out of it, as many would be selling their coins by listening to the negative news.

Thats another possible scenario also.They are speculating maybe,expecting the price will go down just like the bitcoin just started before.Look now,the bitcoin have gone too far,the demand also increases as more merchant accepting it.

It's because BTCitcoin is still in early adoption and we don't know what's going to happen.  It's very volatile and there is contantly something in the new either good or bad about BTCitcoin.

I also don't think they are real haters, but they only act like so just to create panic among the less experienced cummunity members. Look at kwukduck for example, this dude acts like he as an ultra bearish person, but in fact he is buying coins while he keeps saying that the price will crash to very low levels. What hater buys coins at various prices levels that he has been very negative about? What hater buys coins at various prices levels when he is yelling that the price will go sub $300?

I think people don't have proper knowledge of bitcoins and that is the reason they get on any conclusion very fast without knowing the actual situation, they just listen to what they hear from other resources, and make their own decision.

This true , basically people just following recent news and comments around without do their own research.
They even didn't know what they did, once someone says bitcoin is dead they get panic attack and sell their bitcoin at once.
But sometimes the rumours bitcoin dead it's pumping up bitcoin price, like what Mike hearn did a few weeks ago.

It is not dead. I think that people are very negative about it, because it has a low value and that is not good.

Every time, for as long as I remember, that I go on bitcointalk, everyone keeps posting "BTC IS DEAD" "SELL" etc... And then a few Sr/Hero members come and explain how thats wrong.

Aren't we used to the price fluctuating by now? Whats with all the crying/moaning about price bubbles, crashing, inflations, Russia, China blablablablablablaaaaa!

Jeez... Do some research before posting, I saw one post which got LOADS of attention, yet the first post was done by paint, with an unlabelled graph which showed wrong data!

This is getting to the point where we are affecting newer members or gullible people into selling/dumping all their coins instead of keeping them. I mean when I come on the forum, I see that its crashing, why would I buy in?

I think we need to stop giving the panicking people attention and focus more on positive sides.

Either they are the haters of bitcoins or they really don't know the entire concept of bitcoins, and that is the reason they keep on saying that bitcoin is dead and it will not survive in future.
