Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?!

Those propagating negative rumors about bitcoiin was just a people without hope in life, a closed door mind manipulated themselves and say btc is dead. Without enough knowlege about digital currency, made these people judge bitcoin immediately by their own perceptions. Well some of them.was just investors who doesn't want fair plays and will make rumors just to confuse other persons minds and will panic sell their btc holding which could have greater impact of the price drop im the market.

Every time, for as long as I remember, that I go on bitcointalk, everyone keeps posting "BTC IS DEAD" "SELL" etc... And then a few Sr/Hero members come and explain how thats wrong.

I just don't get it.

Aren't we used to the price fluctuating by now? Whats with all the crying/moaning about price bubbles, crashing, inflations, Russia, China blablablablablablaaaaa!

Jeez... Do some research before posting, I saw one post which got LOADS of attention, yet the first post was done by paint, with an unlabelled graph which showed wrong data!

This is getting to the point where we are affecting newer members or gullible people into selling/dumping all their coins instead of keeping them. I mean when I come on the forum, I see that its crashing, why would I buy in?

I think we need to stop giving the panicking people attention and focus more on positive sides.

I don't know why people keep saying bitcoin is dead, because there are no reasons that bitcoin can be possibly dead. People just making fun of us. Even a short evidence to show people that bitcoin will be dead they don't have nothing to show.

You dont have to believe anythig they say here.
If you have your own speculation then take that route.
We have different ideas but some use it for their own selfish purposes and try to scatter a bad news.
Who does this? Those people who have a lot of power specially those who are known can make this and some might agree specially their own followers. You wont have to be like that. It is your own choice.

But people who say it or their idea. If they have power like government or actor. Surely his followers will do what they say. And that is very detrimental to bitcoin

I'm proud to say that I'm one of the people who does not worry about the volatility of bitcoin, in fact I loved it because I'm looking for action to buy and sell in a daily basis if possible. Those who does not understand and have followed bitcoin will always say negative things about bitcoin but us who are believers are willing to take the big risk hoping it will give us good return.

Wow this is lovely to hear. This is my style of trading. People actually don’t understand this phenomenon, they will either call you greedy or consider it a greed for quick money earning while they don’t know the charm and the excitement of the volatility of the market.

I guess we can't stop those spreading lies that bitcoin is dead or dying. They are all envied how the price of it risen from the current price right now. Maybe they want to buy bitcoin at a lower price but it ain't happy folks. Bitcoin is now stable, thanks to Japan adopting it. And I think community members here are already mature enough not to listen to FUD. bitcoin will be never dead because a lot of people adopting bitcoin and there is a lot of people belong to different countries and i hope bitcoin will be sooner an international country and i hope our government will be also adopt the bitcoin.

Its mainly just newbies who bought 0.1 btc and saw the value go down over the last week and think the sky is falling.   Or it is the media and all these financial articles that are posted online, most of which are completely inaccurate and it is clear that they did not take the time to research the facts.   Typically when people write articles about finance they at least fact check, but with bitcoin it seems like they just write whatever they hear as if it is fact.

The people who are new in bitcoin can  be  the one to think that bitcoin will be dead. Because if you do not know bitcoin well and do not experience the sudden development and change of price of bitcoin you may actually thik that bitcoin will be dead or in other term it will be priceless. But actually the changes on bitcoin price is inevitable it means that changes is a part of its development and look at now its price is pumping and increasing to its highest peak so people who have a thought same to this may do panic buyying and may regret it because the future of bitcoin is close ahead and its developmet is on going.

I have a conspiracy theory: People say bitcoin is dead to encourage selling. more selling=lower prices. Then they buy up all the bitcoins at low prices from people who sell and hold them. in the end everyone wants to buy bitcoins.

bitcoin will be never dead because a lot of people adopting bitcoin and there is a lot of people belong to different countries and i hope bitcoin will be sooner an international country and i hope our government will be also adopt the bitcoin.   

Bitcoin could die, another alt coin with better features that appeal to more people could easily take over. Bitcoins just has the first mover advantage.

I can't see any government adopting bitcoin as the currency for their country, if they did that then everybody would see how they waste our tax money
