So the coin has only been truly launched since 6 hours ago and people are already:
-quitting because it's too hard
-bitching about price not good enough
-calling it a scam
?
Come on, seriously....
tell me what is the point to mine a new coin with such high difficulty? Tell me what other coin was already on big exchanges and had a nice price 6 hours after launch? Pandacoin (PND) Pandacoin (Wolong's scam) Credits (2h after launch) Probably more I didnt even notice.

I think a good inflationary coin that actually acts as a currency stands a far better chance at thriving than other coins with much smaller totals. So with that in mind I think that GPU is a winner currently, along with VTC since it was first out of the gate and has a sustainable block halving rate. Not sure what to make of EXE, but at this point I feel like any scrypt-n coin is far more appealing than a new scrypt or sha256 coin. That is until someone makes a scrypt-n coin with 100 billion total and calls it doge 2

what the hell miners are doing, selling at price cannot cover electricity cost
I wouldnt be suprised, if the IPO and the premine is already getting dumped.

I wouldnt be suprised, if the IPO-holders and the premine is already getting dumped. IPO haven't received there coin yet. The Dev has 75.000.000 coins and 12,000,000 coins have been mined so far Volume on Atomic trade is around 300,000 coins that's buys and sells Nobody is dumping apart from the idiots selling for less than it costs to mine, who probably don't even realize you will be able to buy GPU's with this coin in a couple of weeks hopefully

I have a weird issue here....I cannot quite figure it out I have Vertminer set to solo mine (I know, I know, just hoping to hit a bit of luck), and the wallet open. I am seeing coins going into the wallet regularly, in the region of about 60-70 coins each transaction. The thing is, I have not found a block yet myself.... So is someone mining for me here? Not sure what is happening Rit.

Thank you, did not realise that the shares could take time to come through. Much appreciated!

Hey, it's working. I tried these settings. setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1 COLOR 0A vertminer.exe --scrypt-vert -o stratum+tcp://gpu.oakpool.com:3355 -u j23a.1 -p x -I 12 --thread-concurrency 6000 -d 0 --
gpu-platform 1 -w 256 -I 13 --gpu-engine 1000 --gpu-memclock 900 --thread-
concurrency 8193 -g 2 --auto-fan --lookup-gap 2 I just changed the memclock from 1500 to 900 I'm getting 132 kh/s, and I imagine that's low for two 290x, but I don't care. I'm just glad it's working. Thank you for everyone who helped. I honestly truly appreciate it. Someone may have already asked but how much dram memory do you have installed? Also try removing the -d 0 tag from your config file If you have onboard graphics go into the device manager and disable it uless your using it to run your monitor. I have 6 GB. Edit: I thought you said Damn Memory. But I have 6gb of ram, and plus what the 290x has, which is 6gb in all I think for two. Ive struggeled ALL day with different miners and other poblems regarding NFactor and scrypt-jane. Everything resulted in a driver crash, black screen, BSOD etc.. you name it I then tried different types of drivers and versions which also didnt help at all. I have 5 R9 290 running in two machines, one with 24gb ram and one with 6. Both ended up with the same problem whatsoever. I came to a conclution that ive been pushing it too hard... you might try this { "pools" : [ { "url" : " http://x-pool.org:3334", "user" : "j.2", "pass" : "x" } ] , "intensity" : "17", "worksize" : "256", "kernel" : "zuikkis", "lookup-gap" : "2", "thread-concurrency" : "20841", "gpu-threads" : "1", "gpu-engine" : "1000", "gpu-memclock" : "1300", "gpu-memdiff" : "0", "gpu-powertune" : "10", "temp-cutoff" : "95", "temp-overheat" : "93", "temp-target" : "87", "auto-fan" : true, "nfactor" : "11", "kernel-path" : "/usr/local/bin" } Using http://sgminerwindows.com/sgminer-nfactor-zuikkis.phpI've changed gpu-clock to 1100 and memclock to 1400 get about 485k/s and WU 400+.Be it get sick after about 1 hour+.Because I push too hard? But my 290 tri-x temp is below 70 degree.

Spread hashrate and be safe, go for p2pool!! Lots of block found Only 0.5% Fee
P2Pool benefits:* No registration required * Distributed hashrate * Immediate payouts after a block is found * Higher payouts with transaction fees paid to miners * No account hack possible Address: p2phash.com:9404 Start mining within seconds! Just point your miner to p2phash.com:9404 and use the GPUcoin address from your wallet for username, the password doesn't matter.

It seems with a redownloaded Block-Chain those transactions get confirmed slowly, there are probably multiple forks in the network which seem to re-merge later. Its a problem that hashrate is so uneven spread, one pool as almost 80% of the network. Please wait a few hours until your payouts get confirmed, if they are still not confirmed by this evening I'll look into it again. https://gpu.suprnova.ccAm still missing 1,051.28213451 GPU coins which was the 1st AP which should of been sent to me. The following two payments were fine though. I have reloaded the blockchain and am still awaiting those coins to turn up. Hope this issue gets sorted.
