@d0n4ald as to which coins to hold:  It's anybody's guess where each individual coin is going to go.  Some will sky rocket.  Some will dump.  Anyone that says they know for sure is lying.  Do what you feel is best.

But, having 20 different coins means that it is going to take 20x longer to get a payout to your wallet.  And it means you need 20x wallets.

Personally, I exchange everything to BTC, and then when I get a bunch, I send it to a wallet that I control.  Maybe not the right thing to do.  Bitcoin was at $20,000 a few days ago, and now down to $14,000.  Round and round she goes, where she goes, nobody knows.

A bit off-topic.
Just noticed nicehash appeared in WhatToMine again, and guess what - nicehash is ALIVE!
And guess what - there are plenty of idiots to trust them their funds again!

hello - i just downloaded multipool miner

have a 1050ti...i am thinking about buying another gpu. can i mix different gpu's with my 1050ti?  I have a mobo with 6 pci-e slots, so no doubt i can fit more cards. PSU is only 550 watts though, so i think it could probably handle another 1050ti. not sure if it could handle something like a 2x 1070s?

other questions - i only picked a few auto switching algos  - lyra2, neoscript, equihash, lyra2re2.  Should i add others? should i only stick to one?  every time i edit my list of algos - does that mean i have to run benchmarking all over again?

onto coins balances - i like the novelty of holding on to many coins that i will mine.  Is this not advised?  should i just stick to auto converting it to one coin, like litecoin?  will i have difficulty moving coins around to wallets since i probably wont have a big balance in each of them?

most nvidia required 500 W minimun PSU,

600 Watts for 2 x 1070 + Full PC is more than enough btw. Even 500 Watts would be fine for a PC mining 24/24

most nvidia required 500 W minimun PSU, add another 1050 should be no problem since max power draw is around 75w, if you want to add 1070 also it will ok its max draw 150w, for me better add 1070 since it have better Hashrate and more efficient in power draw.

with multipoolminer you can set as much as algo available in MPH, it will switch automatically to most profitable coin to mine, benchmarking done every 24 hours, if you add some coin which never added before mpm will benchmark it for the first time.

Holding to many coin is good if you do long term hold, but if you want to cash it fast i advice you choose best coin as right now Ethereum is best.

is 1070 or 1070 ti better for mining MPH?

Hi!,
I has written my own bash script to mine the most profitable algorithm at each moment, to do that I get the response for an API call to https://miningpoolhub.com/index.php?page=api&action=getautoswitchingandprofitsstatisticsthen and then I start mining the algorithm with the highest  "normalized_profit_amd" value. All seems to be ok, but I see diferences between the result of the API call and the "Auto switching ports per algo. Sorted for AMD GPU" table from miningpoolhub web page. For example, with the API call I get ethash as the most profitable algorithm, but in the web page I see Cryptonight as the most profitable... ¿How can I get the most profitable algorithm using API calls?, ¿what is the most profitable algorithm, the algorithm returned in the API call or the algorithm or the one that appears on the web as the most profitable?

In terms of "bitcoin per watt", yes.. but if he's looking for LTC specifically, zpool isn't the place to go.  the scrypt pool there is mining digibyte & verge primarily.

Maybe but Coinbase can exchange BTC to Litecoin for free and it's money in your pocket whatever it's stored as.

Mining is quite split there:

Doge (scrypt) - 363.5 GH/s
Via (scrypt) - 363.5 GH/s
Myriad (scrypt) - 363.5 GH/s
Ninja scrypt - 213 GH/s
Gulden (scrypt) - 155 GH/s
Linda (scrypt) - 105.4 GH/s
Campus (scrypt) - 94.3 GH/s
Pink (scrypt) - 59.5 GH/s
Digibyte (scrypt) - 41.2 GH/s
Verge (scrypt) - 38.1 GH/s
Litecoin (scrypt) - 32.6 GH/s

Invalid shares don't count towards reported hashrate in the dashboard, right? Only valid shares count?

Hi,
A few months ago MiningPoolHub switched my mining power to XVG.  I had been mining SXC and I think there was a fork in the wallet software?

Now I'd like to get a payout on the Verge (XVG) I mined during that time, but I can't enter a wallet # into the Verge payout page (the textbox is disabled).  How do I get a payout on my Verge coins?

John

The box on the right copies from the wallet box on the left. Enter your address there

1070 ti better only on max power, in mining with stable efficient power both wont much different, so for price wise 1070 is better

In my experience the 1070ti is worth every penny extra.  I have a rig of 8 x 1070's and a rig of 8 x 1070ti's and the latter mine around 10% more than the former.  All overclocked and power limit set to 65%.  The power drawn from the wall is identical. (around 1kw each rig)

Well now it will take even longer to reach the previous 0.002 BTC min withdrawal.

BTC from 0.002 to 0.0028
Fee from 0.0003 to 0.0008 yes that will be  from $4.65 to $12.40.

I picked the wrong Auto Exchange and have been waiting to reach the BTC min withdrawal and then switch to a lower fee coin.  Funny as I get close to having enough, the goal post changes.  I will wait till my balance has been reached then switch but wait a bit for the unconfirmed to finish.

Oh well.

I understand the fee increase as BTC is terrible for high fees.

ugh... that sucks.

Would be nice if you'd enable BTC->exchange, at least for a while...
