You're bag holding, are you sure the price will rise again ?

Since March 2012, litecoin transaction has increased around 5 times, while bitcoins around 15 times. so why should ltc rise ?

What about the hard fork?  I saw it on crypto mining blog just now! I can't access my wallet until the 9th!

There is no hard fork, which blog are you talking about?

There is a new updated wallet and its suggested that you upgrade as always.

I came to this thread, because I read a tweet about a hard fork, lol. Nice to know it's not true, weird that people say such things though.

Litecoin needs to bring sexy back!

It's faster and therefore more convenient to use than BTC. Period.

LTC has proven to be a trustworthy, non-hyped alternative to Bitcoin and with it's HUGE jump on all other competitors it will continue to hold the #2 position to BTC.

What can be done to improve it's visibility? To ensure LTC keeps it's #2 position.

LiteVault is a very welcome recent development. Hopefully the operators will create a GUI similar to Coinbase or Blockchain.info that touts all of the security advantages it offers compared to it's competition (coinkite). And PR's the hell out of it!

Litecoin SHOULD BE accepted at EVERY merchant currently accepting Bitcoin (online as well as brick and mortar). It is liquid (#1 requirement for merchant acceptance). Most people aren't buying houses or even cars with crypto - at least for now. Litecoin can handle "smaller" purchases (up to $10,000 USD) without a problem.

Litecoin SHOULD BE VIEWED as the hipper, faster, younger brother of Bitcoin. Cool designs/logos need to be created and marketed by someone. Hats, shirts, stickers, etc.

Litecoin (and Bitcoin for that matter) should be HEAVILY marketed to the legal marijuana market in Colorado, Washington, California, etc (dispensary owners, growers, edibile mfr's, etc). These businesses have absolutely NO ACCESS to banks. Most (if not all!) operate CASH ONLY. This multi-BILLION DOLLAR MARKET is an IDEAL target for Litecoin to penetrate. Again, not POT or another hyped up clone of Litecoin. LTC has LIQUIDITY!

Now back to sexy. Litecoin needs to be the Miami of cryptocurrency. It needs a flavor - tasteful but sexy! Rather than post about day-to-day price fluctuations or nauseating penny stock scare tactics, this community needs to take individual actions to bring the sexy back.

That's my 2 cents, anyways.

What is happening, more than 10% drop in one day Sad

I made 100 ltc off last nights dump and i'm still down in fiat, 2015 is getting worst than 2014

Nowadays, Cryptos are more like investment instrument, similar with others goods like gold, silver, oil and all against DOLLARS
So, when dollars is going strong and the others will fall for sure.

Since the wind in dollars side, in next few months will be more turbulance

I totally agree, the biggest argument against ltc is that it's now exactly the same as bitcoin regarding to the asic armswar. But stilll, the network of ltc needs far less elektricity then btc

The image is pretty good, although not sure what a darkcoin pic is doing here  Roll Eyes.

Also....

Gone where? Its still a great coin, strong community, accepted at nearly all exchanges, and is second to Bitcoin as far as merchant adoption Wink. Price in the short term matters little (especially since we are anchored to BTC, and BTC has been taking a spanking recently). I want to type more, but its 2AM here, so ill respond tomorrow to people and trolls Wink.
