Litecoin is best to do some day trading as well as some swing trading. I don't expect it to be an alternate to bitcoin or even reach anywhere close to bitcoin. Since all the crypto currencies are in a free fall as yuan appreciated suddenly, be careful when buying into any coins. Wait for the dust to settle before adding more coins.

why a lot of people want 50$? i think 10 or 15 will be good. Do not be so optimistic with 50. It is mining now, so a lot of people dump it. And big players speculate with price and dump it too.

Your litecoin.conf file can be found within the application data directory for Litecoin.

On Windows it is %APPDATA%\litecoin\ or otherwise stated, C:\Users\YOUR USERNAME HERE\AppData\Roaming\litecoin\
On Mac OS X it can be found within /Users/YOUR USERNAME HERE/Library/Application Support/Litecoin/
On Linux it can be found within ~/.litecoin/ or otherwise stated, /home/YOUR USERNAME HERE/.litecoin

This information can also be found at https://litecoin.info/Data_directory
