groestl difficulty has gone up 5x in the last 6 hours.

groestl p2pool is in works by chaeplin (author of darkcoin p2pool). Hopefully we have something soon. At the moment, groestl solo mining is not practical anymore. My 40 MH/s rig found 2 blocks in last 6 hours while the average difficulty was ~ 125.

save your wallet

dumpprivkey, save the key

delete everything in your roaming, even the wallet yes

create a new wallet with the client

importprivkey keysavedbefore

I forgot to mention that it is an online-wallet to online-wallet transfer.

i guess those coins are lost. the only chance you have is that the guy who received them finds this thread and gives them back, afaik.

I wish it was to an existing wallet but seems like nobody is using that account.
I am actually not so worried about the coin but it is just wasted. I wish it was to someone's wallet so that they can use it.
Now nobody can use it unless we can recover it.

I think a coin with an address check facility will also increase the robustness of that coin.
This maybe a good idea for any coin in terms of security. Why coins do not have this attribute?

If it is implemented, then sending a coin to a wrong address can be reduced by %99.
