Gotta say thumbsup to that Smiley would try to set memclock to 1000mhz though.

and it's another 10 watt lower, cards running considerably more quiet, temps are down 5-10 degress.. why isn't every coin skein?

any tips for skein on a 270?

pool doesn't seem to show any hashrate.. :/

lowered intensity to 7, getting 130mh per card, is that alright?

I got the same from mine at 1060/1000 Mhz....

Please remove stablehash.com pools from first post as they've stolen a lot of coins from miners !

give them credit and some time, I guess... and I hope Wink

Stablehash skein pool is up and running stable. Hope they fix the payout issue.

setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
cgminer --skein -I 7 -g 2 --shaders 2048 --thread-concurrency 8192 --gpu-engine 1080 --gpu-memclock 1000 -o stratum+tcp://myrskeu.nut2pools.com:6040 -u username.worker -p x

Hope it helped for someone.

thanks a lot i got ... previous my hashing power is 205mh now 215mh

It seems silly they would limit themselves like that? Why not just list it now? They make the rules.
They are just losing money. Weird. $250,000 USD in volume in 24 hours and market cap is at $250k.
Should be fun tonight.

I guess 24-36 hours isn't too long to wait. Still good news Smiley

Trust is all that matters.

Have to say I'm pretty disapointed. They've made payouts, and the site is back up and running for the Groestl pool, but the payout they've given is about 1/3 what it should be. They've also fixed the unconfirmed bug, but those 2/3 of coins have gone missing. 3 days of consistent mining with accepted shares over that period has netted 1 days worth of coins.

I'd be good to get an answer and response from the team there at stablehash

the lowest temps and electricity consumption are reached with groestl.

temps wise, skein and scrypt are almost equal.
they are not. skein temps and power consumption are 10-15% less.
At least when you tune gpu properly. On skein there's no need for high memory clocks (1250 is fine) and I above 9.
What matters to skein hashrate is engine clock.

So if I'm mining with an R9 270x, which is the best method to use? I've got all the scrypt stuff set up already, but I'm not opposed to learning a new method.

thats because the people ddosing are getting all the blocks and 500btc in coins per day its really cool and totally helps out the crypto cause...

makes us all look so good dealing with scams like this all the time, where the ppl ddosing are the only ones making money

This is painful, but it seems to be the truth - is it me, or were the pools running just fine before the financial speculators showed up and started posting market cap predictions?
I would assume that they have private pools (rather than solo mining) that they use to arbitrage the mining after they DDOS the crap out of all of the public pools?

I guess the answer is to NOT SELL your coins for awhile?  Or just BUY AND HOLD any available coin?  Then these cunts move on to the next pump "opportunity"?
A few MYR strikes me as a good LONG TERM HOLD since it's based on good technology.
