Soz I haven't posted much here recently - though I have been reading everything several times a day. It's been quite hectic behind the scenes in BytecentLand lately. (DYOR)

The 'community leaders' there use both TeamsSpeak & Slack for brain-storming sessions, maybe that's something we should emulate for the Knights? I don't have a TS server, but I could set up a Slack site for the Knights if it's wanted - just let me know.

You are right the Zeit Forum (https://forum.zeit-coin.net) is very good.

I watched some other coins almost completely ignore their BTCTALK forums in favorite of private communications, it makes their coin look like it has no activity even if it does.
Personally, would like to see us use BTCTALK as much as possible to keep things open between the Knights & the Community & BTCTalkers, and use the Zeit Forums (https://forum.zeit-coin.net) setup for Private Knights discussions if we ever feel the need.
Being active on BTCTalk , gives us a little free advertising, which would be good to hold onto for now.

If BTCTALK has another crash and does not come back up ,
Zeit Community & Knights could easily move to the Zeit Forums.
Ray may put in a Link on the next wallet directly to the Zeit Forums (https://forum.zeit-coin.net).
Either Way The New Knights will voice their opinions and we will go from there.

Forums & DMs have their place, for sure, but I've been WELL impressed with the 'raw creativity' that has emerged from the live conferences - even when they don't finish 'til 04:00 my time 

The Knights deserve the best (free) communications tools available volgens mij.

I'm going to look into hosting a TeamSpeak server for the Knights, for certain.

It's both more social, and more efficient, than 'post & reply'.

- Important qualities in their own right, and in keeping with the philosophy of Zeitcoin

I may not post much, but I've been around since the beginning of ZeitCoin and believe in it... wish I could get enough to qualify for ZeitKnights but don't have that much!  If you're willing, PM me and we'll work out the details... I tried to purchase the BTC via Netagio but got an error, so I'll have to use Coinbase and wait the 4 to 5 days, or us Paypal.

I wanted to get more when it was cheaper but did not have the funds.

I wouldn't let 50 mill go for less than a whole coin, maybe not even that, the way we are going these days.

Currently on our Largest Active Working Exchange Comkort,
There is only ~30 million zeitcoins total even available , and you would have to buy all the way up from 200 litoshi to 100000 litoshi , to get them. So the price would be ~140 litecoins which is currently $1.91 for a grand total of $267.40 for only 30 million zeitcoins.

Best plan for the moment is to place buy orders between 150 & 200 litoshi , as some people still give away their zeit for this paltry amount. Use time & varying price of Litecoin to work for you, best time to buy is when litecoin value drops.

2nd option is buying Zeitcoins on Cryptsy at a lower rate and praying they one day fullfill their promise to let you withdraw zeitcoins from them. (But be forewarned they give no time line, and personally , I am beginning to think they lost their over 300 million zeitcoins) Very Risky , I would chose Comkort over craptsy. Also if that is the case and they did lose their zeitcoins, if they have to go out on the working exchanges and buy up zeitcoins later to replace what they lost , then our Marketcap is going to skyrocket.

You still have time to become a Zeit Knight in 2015 ,
Registration is open for 4 weeks in February, 4 weeks in June, 4 weeks in October.

Why Zeit is in a Win / Win ,  
We are tied to Litecoin, if it goes down, we can get zeitcoins at a cheaper rate, and our price holds or rises compared to US$, if litecoin goes up our Marketcap will skyrocket and bring in new people to buy zeit and our price rises. We are the only coin, I know of in such a unique position.

Just some background Zeit hit its all time low of 13 litoshi last year and now is at 200 litoshi.
200/13 = 15.38  , so compared directly with litecoin , our Litecoin Value is 15.38 times what it was in 2014. In the coming years the other coins will be measured in Zeitoshis as we continue to grow.
It is gonna be Cool.

Yes I was serious, it never hurts to ask, and I didn't mean to get anyone excited.
I'm buying some BTC and when I have it, I'll post back and see if anyone wants to sell a large amount directly at a good price, other wise I'll do as Kiklo suggests.

FYI, I tried buying BTC with a credit card before (I'm in NC, USA) and it's been a pain... this time I tried coin.mx (TX, USA) and Netagio.com (UK).  The prices on Netagio seem high.  I tried Netagio first but got some type of error - so I tried coin.mx it looks good.  On both you have to upload photos of yourself with photoID, etc. but once you're verified it works.

My frustration is that back when the price was bottomed out I could not buy any.

They do want a lot of financial info, credit card, link to Bank account , & SS#.
Would setup a separate bank account for them to access, would not use my main accounts for it.
But hey, I am the Paranoid type. 
But after you jump through all of their hoops, they do allow instant purchase, no wait time.

Kiklo  - the problem I have with CoinBase is that to do instant purchases you have to put a credit card on file and they only accept Visa... mine is MasterCard... that may be different in the states that they just became licensed in, but I'm in NC and NC is not on the list yet.  Coin.mx worked great...
