@Atronite

Don't be too concerned about Whales. They have a right to buy and sell as they choose. Spreading awareness of how good this coin really is and the community behind it, is a much better use of time (our German speakers might appreciate my use of 'time' here!  Wink).

I'm back after a while and the more I read the more it sound a little bit funny to me.
You make BIG plans, which are so far away from reality.
0.1$ Huh Right know Zeitcoin is worth 0,000003086956522$.
I would say lets calm down a little bit and be more realistic.
If we could perhaps help someone to buy a wheelchair that's a big deal right know.
If I wouldn't know Zeitcoin before I would say that's all the guys are pretty crazy.

+1

Even the peercoin community is further along than Zeitcoin is. In a way, all Zeitcoin is is peercoin with different stats and figures with an initial PoW stage.

Like he said, we have to stay grounded in reality here and focus on achievable goals. First we have to develop the infrastructure and economic ecosystem, and then we figure out a way to allow that system to be used for solving problems. 1c per Zeit is a pretty wild goal.Oour community can't even begin to compare to dogecoin's community. If we can rival Dogecoin's community, that would be a good start.

JUST HOURS TO GO

Make sure that you confirm your vote by email, otherwise it won't be counted. People are voting but our score isn't going up.

Make sure the vote is clean. CoinPayments have ways to check double voting.

Zeitcoin CoinPayments Vote

  • The vote ends on December 5, 2014 at 12:00:00pm (mid-day) New York Eastern Standard Time (EST)

  • Each vote costs 0.001 BTC. Besides Bitcoin, you can use Litecoin and Dogecoin. The cost of a vote is roughly equivalent to 37 cents (US$0.37), €0.30 Euros, Chinese ¥ 2.30, or 23 pence (£0.23) GBP. Each token amount is donated to charity.

  • If voting, make sure that you confirm your vote by clicking on the authorisation link which will be sent to you by email, otherwise it won't be registered. Allow for any transaction fee in sending the voting fee.

Of course, the fact that we only have 13 votes is disappointing. Is there any way to vote more than once? What happens if I send more than .001 bitcoin? If I send in .02 bitcoin, would that give us 20 votes? Or do I have to vote 20 times and send to 20 separate addresses?

The rules are clear. One vote only for each person. We need more CoinPayments votes.
Zeitcoinistas ... Go, Go, Go!

To vote:
https://www.coinpayments.net/vote

After you vote on the CoinPayments site, they will send you 3 emails. One confirming the amount to send; one acknowledging your payment; and one for you to click on a link confirming your vote. This last one is important, otherwise your vote will not be registered. Check your emails!

The Plan is to get Zeitcoin to $1 (always has been) , and according to my calculations, is exactly what will happen.
TimeFrame to achieve this varies depending on when we get the virtual / physical economy going.
I know it is a shocking thought $1 or even a penny to most reading this post, but that is where we are going , will there be ups & downs on the way, sure but the destination is certain.
It is going to be One Fun Ride.   Cheesy

 Cool

FYI:
Would You have believed Zeitcoin would increase in value over 7 fold in less than 6 months.
And we have not even started the really cool stuff yet.
Wait & See , it will make you happy.  Cheesy

Below is a post from Oct 7,2014.
Been saying the $1 per Zeitcoin since then.
_______________________________________________________________________________ _____
I have about 125,000,000 Million zeit. So how can i get a member?
Next month i am going to buy a few more million, but why the hell should i let somebody else with my Coins into the Council? I don't like that idea, everybody should have the Coin.

I earn about 0,000005 ltc everyday at Cryptsy just having ltc there. I do not need to trade.

Hi Mitras,

If you don't want to proxy any of your coins to someone else you don't have too.
The Reason for the Proxy is that some members with more Zeitcoins than others can help anyone they believe worthy to be on the Zeit Counsel , but was unable to obtain the 100 million on there own.

You are under no obligation to proxy , but there are some that want to proxy very strongly. It's Optional.

The Zeit Counsel will be about helping zeitcoin, but we are helping zeitcoin to make it strong enough that it will be able to help people WorldWide.

When we get Zeitcoin to $1 apiece, and a single mom with 2 kids can hit the Zeit Faucet and get $100 to help her out with her bills or a Young man hitting the faucet able to start his own business thanks to the Capital he saved up from the Zeit Faucet , or a village in a 3rd world country able to buy Livestock or a water pump for a clean well.

That is the Zeit Counsel's end game, To make this World a Better Place for All who reside in it.

In Late January 2015, we will accept requests to be part of the Counsel thru the Zeit-Knights.
In Feb 2015 we will verify the 100 Million for anyone who requested to be on the counsel, and they will be accepted onto the Counsel as a Zeit-Knight.

Let me know if you have any more questions.

And what is the plan to get there? I heard about Zeitcoin because I follow Zeitgeist, but I bet most interested in crypto haven't heard about Zeitcoin yet. What is the plan to get to one dollar. Also how do you think those faucets will still hand out 100 coins when they're worth 100 dollar? Just interested. I think you need a big and strong pumpgroup, to push the value up, just my opinion..

We are right know under 2 satoshi and where have we been???
You think we have a strong community- wake up 13 votes speaks a clear language.
I'm not against Zeitcoin but I don't like the unrealistic plans.

The plan details will not be shared , except in bits & pieces with the ZeitKnights as we enact them,
sorry but I have a secretive nature.

Each ZeitKnight will donate a Max of up to 10% of their monthly mintings , so we can at least add 1 million zeitcoins per month to the faucets.

1 ZeitKnight with 100 million zeitcoins even when we are at the final 5% interest rate in 2019,
100,000,000 zeitcoins * 5%  =  5,000,000 zeitcoins

10% of 5,000,000 zeitcoins =  500,000 zeitcoins
ZeitKnight still has 4,500,000 left for whatever personal good works they chose.

500,000 zeitcoins / 12 months = 41,667 zeitcoins per month rounded off

Now 25 ZeitKnights * 41,667 zeitcoins per month = 1,041,675 zeitcoins per month

So there is your answer, plus right now the interest rate is still 25%, and we have a year of 20%, 15%, 10%, before we hit the 5%. Just so you know how serious we are about the faucet, check it we currently have 3 million out there , giving out 100zeit coins per visit. Being funded only by a few of the Zeit Community.

LOL,   Cheesy
OK you make some realistic plans and we can give them a shot.

Why do you think that zeitcoin lived thru the last mintpal delisting.

What you don't understand is there is more stuff in the works , than I am going to share, why do you think I always seem so certain of the $1 mark.

If you guys don't want to believe that cool , your choice.
Does not affect the outcome. Zeitcoin will be at $1 before we are at the 5% rate.

FYI:
Just a thought you paid over $350 for a bitcoin, and you paid over $3.50 for a litecoin,
and you can't see that zeitcoin which is technically superior to both will be worth $1 in only a few years.

 Cool

Zeitcoin is one under hundreds. Why is mintcoin so low? I bet they have a bigger community.
Don't compare us with Bitcoin they have been the first that's all.
I think if we reach the worth of doge that would be great.

I set Higher Goals, in the final version, Zeitcoin is the #1 coin over all, including bitcoin.
No Later than 2035 if you want to write it on your calendar.

 Cool

P.S.
Mintcoin technically is a good coin , but if you check their forum, it is suffering from a massive lack of interest.
No postings for days at a time, quite sad.

I don't think there are any hard and fast rules. Coinpayments' decision will possibly be based on other factors besides the vote, such as the quality of postings on forums such as this. Let's hope that they will dig further than the last few pages.

I think overall our 563+ pages in this thread have been mostly civil, so we should be good.
