Instead, computers will divy up the resources in demand. And these computers will be programmed by programmers, who probably work for somebody in power.....who probably have friends who will always have their needs met over someone else......and this will never be abused or mismanaged by anyone ever........you can see how this will work right? xD

The first movie WAS inspirational but PJ got scared of the anti-Semitic lobby shortly afterward & back-tracked like a sonofabitch.

I agree. The first movie was eye-opening to be sure. But the next few seemed a bit fanciful. The fact is that until scientists can map out and find exactly which gene on the DNA strand causes greed, there will never again be a completely resource based, fairly distributed non-fiat economy in the "civilized" world. Mankind has gotten a taste of the power that money brings, and won't be too keen to let go of that power anytime soon.

HI im Zeitgeist member of Argentina , most of the group here do not understand the "utility " or potential, especially the difference between zeitcoin and other altcoin or FIAT , so we need a demonstration , educate them, one by one, and be patient. . .

We are happy for discussions - but before that, everybody must know what Zeitcoin is.

dissapointing dat zeitgeist is so shortsides, crypto can be a way of distributing resources fairly, that they can't see that. As long as fiat is here, offcourse it will be a currency, but ones everything is crypto, fair distribution is a piece of cake

Here's my thoughts on it, with some questions added in. How much of the inner workings would these individuals be privy to, and how much of a say so would they have? One point that you yourself have mentioned several times is that, at the current low prices, it doesn't take a whole lot of money to buy up enough Zeit (for those who have disposable income available, anyways) to qualify for this position. What that tells me is that it would be very possible, eventually, to have a rather large body of people having inputs into what the community does and where and how the Zeit are invested. It really is no different than what we have right now where all holders of Zeit already have a say so (or at least, should have a say so) as this is supposedly a community owned coin at the moment. I understand that as of right now, Ray is the de facto dev, and has been doing many great things, I might add. I also understand that you have positioned yourself into a de facto position of decision making/authority over the community, and though you have been less than forthcoming with what plans you have in the works, we can all at this time take your word at face value and give you the benefit of the doubt that you are going to be able to come through with all of these wonderful plans you say you have.

In your opinion, will opening up these positions do anything to address the issues we need most such as more recognition and acceptance as a legitimate player in the crypto game? If so, then I say yay. My vote then would be for Ambassador as this title gives a more community oriented vibe as opposed to soldier or lieutenant, which, to me at least, seem more like dictatorial terms.

As far as everything else goes, I believe that they would be privy to all Zeit Knights info as much as a zeit knight, other things up for discussion,
The Knights will donate a max of 10 % of their monthly stake to further the cause of zeit.
Should the Ambassadors be required to also donate 10% or only 5% or 2.5% Monthly to further the cause of zeit.
Another issue to be considered , Voting rights, does everyone Ambassador or Knight receive 1 vote , or do we base the voting on the # of zeitcoins, you have ,
For example :
A Zeit Knight receives 1 vote for holding 100 million zeitcoins,
a Zeit Ambassador, receives ¼ vote if they hold 25 million,  ½ vote if they hold 50 million, or
3/4 vote if the hold 75 million.

(The Max any 1 individual can have is 1 vote, to help keep anyone from trying to dominate the round table.)

This is all up for discussion, so what is everyone's thoughts.

I think it WOULD be a good idea to have tiers of ownership, but it needs to stick with the knights theme. I suggest only 2 other Tiers:

Page

Squire

To be a page, you must have at least 25 million. To be a squire, you must have 50 million.

They are voting members as well, but their vote only counts as 1/2 or 1/4.

I think it is only fair. After all, there is only 30b Zeit in existence, 10 billion of that is already concentrated in only 5 wallets. So that only leaves a theoretical limit of something like 200 people.

If we are to have any growth as a group, we have to add these tiers in order to enlarge our potential membership.

The Wallet feature is experimental in the new block explorer, not accurate Yet as far as I can tell.
We also don't know if any of the top addresses are exchanges , which would mean that not just 1 person owns all of the coins in that address.
