Update. There's a conversation in danger of breaking out on twatter  I've included @zeitcoin in my tweets, of course, but perhaps a few of you 'major holders' would like to have your say too? Follow me @lionofnarnia & I'll make sure you're included. Most recent 'obstacle' - I can also not speak for TZM but r u aware that 1 of TZM's goals is to have no monetary system whatsoever? My responses - Yes, & a decentralised trustless frictionless public-ledger system is an important step towards it. & Zeitcoin isn't money (legally) it's property. Hence a personal 'resource' beyond the control of gvmt I feel this could turn into more of a chess-match than I'm equipped to play so I'm happy to tag out & give centre stage to those with the tools to bring this bacon home. |

I don't know who or what, or exactly when, but someone with access to @ZEITCOIN appears to have been saying things that may not be in the long-term interests of the coin/community. (He says with masterly English understatement ) I'm doing my best to smooth it all over, but for sure could have done without this kind of complicating factor. I'm a great ass-kicker, but a lousy diplomat FFS! |

It was a small test. It is showing us, that it's not possible for a collaboration with TZM. They are small minded - not open for any compromises. I like a lot of their ideas, but some things are impossible!!!. We are able to change the world, but we aren't able to create a fantasy world - let's change our course - without TZM. I am sorry about those hard words, but a life without any kind of currency is fantasy - it's Star Trek, not reality... |

Opinion noted.
I'm not ready to quit on this unless & until a better plan is presented. I think there is sufficient common ground already established to be worthy of carrying on. If I get anywhere, I'm happy for the community to decide what to do about it. Fair enough?

Being Part of TZM seems to be over. Let us try to make the Zeitcoin more public that we are able to change something. A Coin without value can´t build a farm somewhere. The first step should be that Zeitcoin became more and more public.

I think let's just forget about TZM and a re-branding is the best solution. We can build a bigger community without them. Let's just call it ZCoin - the last alt coin that we will ever need.

I've just observed, from the inside, a pre-planned pre-announced pump on 'trex. Had I been of the ilk for such behaviour I would be sitting on an 80% 3-hour profit. Yet for every satoshi gained, I would know that some other poor sucker was losing it. Not because they deserved it, not because they made a bad decision, but just because some whales wanted a Sunday night laff. I don't want to be part of that. I respect myself - and by extension every other self - too much to live with myself in that world. So no more trading for me. When my current positions are filled, that's it. No more caring about well-meaning coins. Not when they, and the hopes & dreams of their communities, can be destroyed in a few hours 'at the whim of the gods'. I'm breaking free. Moving on. Mining, yes. Maybe even big mining. But it will be auto-multi-pool mining paying in BTC. Keeping my bag of Zeit, of course - that's my 'pension fund' But I'm standing down as spokes-lion, effective immediately. There's no way I can continue to try to speak for a community that has no current idea of what it is, where it wants to go or how to get there & has no-one stepping up with workable solutions. Consider me just another ordinary Zeit-holder from now on. The pump? It was on LXC LibrexCoin. When I got the call it was @ 2514. It peaked @ 4800. I was advised to sell @ 4750. www.cryptsy.comThey have a litecoin market for it and Litecoin is under $4 right now. So you can buy a huge amount of zeit for almost nothing. Even if Zeit price stayed where it is, if Litecoin goes back up to $10 you will make a profit. At the current rates and Prices people are crazy not to pick up a few million zeitcoins. The Rewards will be HUGE , if you can hold the Zeitcoins for a year or more.  |

There are Zeit pairings with BTC, LTC, DOGE & DRK over at LazyCoins too Just for a laff I put half a million up for sale @ 1 satoshi - and they sold! For the Brits out there, I've just become a member of the UK Digital Currency Association- as well as the Bitcoin & Alt-coin groups on Linkedin. Same user-name as here, of course Kinda feels like I'm leaving Uni for my first 'grown-up' job. |

Went to Check mine and noticed that it did not have one. So you don't need a conf file with Zeitcoin, it runs fine without it. Has it started to sync and is just taking a long time or are you unable to find any connections so it will start syncing? |

FYI: For Anyone looking to buy Zeitcoin Cryptsy.com is selling under the Litecoin area. It moved from 13 litoshi to 17 litoshi in the past few days. And Tuesday had a very nice volume. On http://worldcoinindex.com/ it was 192 last week and now it shot up to 135!!!  Don't wait too long , you may miss the low prices. |
