Overwhelmed with orders, Beckett Grading Services will temporarily stop accepting most trading card submissions next week.
Like its competitor, PSA, Dallas-based Beckett has a backlog of ungraded cards that’s so large that collectors and dealers have been waiting months for orders that used to be completed in weeks.
Beckett Collectibles President Jeromy Murray says all grading submissions other than the Premium Level service will be suspended after Monday, June 7.

What's a pristine Brooklyn Back Mini PSA10 sell for these days? Asking for a friend. Chris Wow.! Raw ones average 5.5k so... 22k im guesstimating I see a raw/ungraded Brookie on eBay right now for $40K or best offer. I probably would have accepted an even 1 BTC for my PSA10 before seeing that one, but maybe it's wiser to wait and see how much that raw/ungraded one sells for on eBay. I think it may be priced a little high for raw/ungraded, but on the other hand, who knows? I wouldn't want to undersell another rare #83 Cryptocurrency card. LOL Chris

It's awesome to see how well these cards appreciated in value. Dug out my collection a few days ago. Sitting on 50 base 5 silver 2 black and a handful of minis. I guess I'll send that couple to HGA while waiting on BGS to allow submissions again.

Hotbox silver especially. i would wait for PSA if you are sure they will grade well. Maybe send in through a card shop for best rate.

He's got some setup with different color lights and cleans them up and videos me about what he thinks it'll grade. I've only got 9.5s back from him and the others he rejects just cost $3 for inspection. I do think HGA will stick around tho. I like them at least with the color match. Happy collecting! Also there's a black mini x for auction on eBay with no reserve that started at .99 cents. This should be fun to watch. https://www.ebay.com/itm/234063616072

Auctions high risk with recent cool down. PSA 10 mini card sold for 240. The word hasn't gotten out on the rarities so folks only want base card. Id be surprised if it goes over 600. Easily a 2500 card.

Have no fear everyone, the alt acct was to recover this account when everything was breached and is well known to mods who helped me regain access to this acct.

Snagged a great deal so I put up with it, but every week I emailed them asking to ship and they said they were going to it wasn't until I messaged them everyday after a month of non shipment. Obviously a high volume consigner but their business acumen sucks

That's one big reason to be extra careful when buying ungraded cards. Personally, I rarely take a chance on ungraded #83 Cryptocurrency cards from eBay anymore. At this point in the game, everyone knows the extreme high prices that a well-graded #83 Cryptocurrency card can bring, so when I see a rare ungraded card for sale, I immediately think, "It was previously graded. It scored a low grade. And the owner cracked open the case and is selling it as "ungraded" in order to prey upon the hopes of newbie buyers who may not know better." Yes, this is a pessimistic view. And against my own advice, I've taken the chance and been proved wrong in the [recent] past. However, this scheme happens all the time in the general baseball card game with cards valued at a lowly $100 or less, so I imagine it would most certainly happen with the rarer #83 Cryptocurrency cards which are valued into the thousands of dollars. Just a thought and a word of caution to the collector / investor. Chris @ TBPCo.

BP it happens all the time on eBay, cards can go to a professional evaluator and if not deemed mint or gem end up on eBay. Rarely will you ever get a raw card that would gem at psa. Raw cards are such a risk on eBay. I've been burned enough to know ebay is a raw sports card mine field. Edit: want to laugh go to eBay sort by highest value and check out the 4th pic on the glossy 1/1. They put in a picture of bitcoins price from Google . What does that have to do with anything. Cmon is it someone here?

Looks like #83 has cooled a bit. When bitcoin takes off again I believe we will see a surge in prices for these cards. This is the perfect time to have your cards graded during this lull period.

Keep alert 83 Crypto card fans, Ohtani is blowing up now too. the first player since Babe Ruth to be at the top of his game as a hitter and a pitcher. Dust off those old cards and find them. a base card is pushing 200 these days. ideally, you'd have in hand now since the all star game is soon and he made the list in both.

Looks like #83 has cooled a bit. When bitcoin takes off again I believe we will see a surge in prices for these cards. This is the perfect time to have your cards graded during this lull period. It's not the #83 it's the whole market. Sports cards definitely peaked early this year and have all come down significantly. Even though it's not "sports" the crypto card will also move as the sports card industry moves.
