So this is where all of my Murraycoin miners ran off to...

Looking good - I've been throwing some hash power at 888 too. Just don't sleep on Murray for too long!

Just about to try p2pool for the first time (on any coin) and saw this over at Qemulab...

Why are some people with less hash getting more coins than those with more hash?

Because the amount of coins is increased over the time. At the beginning you'll get few coins. More time you dedicate to the p2pool, more coins you'll receive.

Would you like to try my new p2pool ?

OctoCoin block explorer (version 1) online:

http://be.octocoin.org

Good job!  It would be great if you used http://explorer.octocoin.org/ so we don't have to update all the p2pool nodes.  Grin

Also, you might want to add a custom favicon to match the slick theme.

*edit* ohh.. that's the MRY explorer.. interesting..

The DNS is still updating for explorer.octocoin.org - we are using FusionHash's hosting services for some of these basic items.

We will be making some additional tweaks to the explorer as well.

We will, yes. We have registered /r/octocointip and /u/octocointip - we will begin getting these sections updated this evening and get the Tip Bot linked up live.

We definitely want to get it out tonight along with all of the other items which have already been completed.

You guys are doing a great job. Keep up the good work! My pool is doing superb as well. We're not huge, about 13% of the network, but we're mining at a decent enough rate. I got the block explorer integrated into our system, seems your DNS has propagated already. I'm happy to say we're not experiencing any more payout issues and we're chugging along happily. This coming Saturday we're doing a 25% giveaway, so don't forget to mine and receive a payout to be entered in the drawing! I don't have an exact estimate for the prize yet but it'll definitely be enough to buy beer or pizza!

Ugh, I can't think about beer or pizza right now.. I just had a bad batch of nachos.

I've been doing quite well at your pool. FusionHash is working on taking over the world so I'd much rather support a smaller pool. You gotta fix the URL under your bitcointalk avatar though. It should be octocoinpool not octocoin.
