don't panik octoc  have a very good futur.....  do not sell your octo !!! soon + 1000% / + 3000% .......

God, I wish I could save what I have. But, there's always more, lol. Anyone interested in buying some 888 with Google Wallet? Takes too long to transfer money from coinbase and Freelancer.com put a 15 day hold on my paycheck (since it's my first one), and I'm HUNGRY. Also have several projects going on and running short on capital to get my ideas off the ground. I still have some surprises in store for the 888 community in the (hopefully) very near future. . .

But yeah, I have 8k 888 I'm looking to trade so if anyone would be able to do Google Wallet I will give you a good deal. Send me a PM if interested. I hate to sell right now, but the pool isn't going anywhere so there'll always be more!

The project was promising, sadly, like 70% of altcoin project it has missed his goal

There are the reason why this coin is already dead :

About dev presence
- OP account hasn't connected since April 14th
- No wallet update related to Heartbleed
- 0 fuck given to the transaction issues

About the project itself
- Gaming crow-funding already exists, by Valve, it's called steam Greenlight, a lot of project already are up on Kickstarter too and why would they adopt octocoin when they already closed gates for bitcoin ...
- It was cool thanks to the mistery around the coin, the community was growing, now it's just full of dumpers and like ten hard believers. The buzz is out. Hashrate is now the same as trade volume, null.
- Coin2 was out at the same time, they already have an fps in beta
- Coin specs were unfair to adopters after the first week.

Could add a lot more...

I definitively moved on

Devs account often was offline for 5-10 days...

But i understand if people move on because there's nothing to fascinate them in the moment and other coins don't sleep.
I don't think that this here is over yet. But not knowing anything sometimes fu**s my head... Roll Eyes

Please guys, don't get nervous.
I know it sometimes looks a bit strange and it's hard to see nothing happen (because it all happens in the back) and it hurts to see a low, nearly dead hashrate sometimes.
But all in all, if investors money hits a coin it doesn't matter if there were 20,30 or 1000 people mining it.
Normally nobody would invest in a low demand coin, that's right. But here, the investors money was there before the coin,
the coin only exists because of this.
Just imagine if there was a dead coin, and some big guys like amazon would announce to accept it etc. what would happen?
(Just an big example). Right, nobody could look away, nobody could blink. So keep on mining and collecting and spread the word!   Wink

I'm working on lots of stuff but if they're not able to get around to it in the next few days I'll fix the heartbleed bug myself and post up another wallet. I can't do Mac wallet at the time, though.

Yeah, I hope so too. The heartbleed bug isn't really going to be a problem for anyone who uses the Windows or Mac QT wallet for general purposes, unless you need SSL for a specific reason. In my case any wallet connections to/from different servers take place over VPN, so SSL isn't necessary.

@Zellor You do have some valid points and I can see your point of view, as I try to keep an open mind at all times. I'm still holding out to see what the devs have in store for us, though. The thing that initially attracted me was the "mystery" and I'm hoping there's more surprises in the future. I myself have a few more plans and ideas. While I may not be raking in the bucks, yet, I don't view all this as a waste of energy, as I'm learning a lot as I go, which in itself is a great reward to me.

Will do, should get one by Tuesday and the other two by the end of the week.  Everything is shut down for the bank holiday weekend here which is rather annoying as the first blade is currently sat in a courier depot less than 15 miles away Sad

Just realized there are still a lot of people mining this coin plus Fusionhash itself is mining it.  Wink
So we should be far far away from death...
But would be nice if all miners would be more active here or on reddit Smiley
We need to work on our community, but yes, this should be more easy when we first got some teasers/screens of the projects to convince others to join us...
(Devs not beeing online for nearly 1 week makes me everytime going crazy like f**k, but hey, i think this will be worth it  Grin)
