KYC is simply just to cheat bounty hunters.

For the first time now I am following bounty that requires participants to do KYC at the beginning of the campaign and I've done it, I don't know this to avoid scammers or will cheat all participants who join, can only confirm and see when bounty ends

Many bounties fail in the end of 2018. They do not distribute or distribute but their projects do not ultimately attract investors' attention and fail. I don't know what they will do with the bounty hunter information

Sold it in the dark market? I hope they will not do that, otherwise, our information will be compromise or life might be at risk.
KYC is really risky if the one that are holding the information is not reputable.

I don't think so. KYC is meant to phish out the bad ones from the genuine ones not to cheat bounty hunters. However, some ICOs and bounties abuse this KYC program.

I don't see anything bad doing kyc if it is well organized, for instance requesting for kyc at the at the appropriate time like before starting the bounty campaigns. If there can be a way kyc can be done through video and only recognize a face and Verify it, most even ask for a passport like the information there is that cheap.

Recently, Bounty companies have abused various forms to fill in personal data to make the distribution of rewards for many Bounty company members impossible.  After the end of the bounty, companies move in to new requirements to fill out KYC, then after a certain time they offer another form to fill in and so on to infinity.

You can ask the bounty manager if he can give you information, That's needed kyc for managing his bounty. In fact, it is a lot that the project team member decides to accept, and at any time they can break their rules.

Be careful with the project that uses KYC. Especially KYC is used for bounty hunters. Personal Data includes confidential documents that you should keep. Many people utilize the personal documents of others to commit crimes. Before you do KYC check. If you're sure, you can try it, but if you find any doubt it's better to choose another project.

They've wanted to make sure that the participants are not abusing the bounties, if the project do have future success  implementing kyc procedures will give them enough reason to pay those who helped them to promote the project letting those bounty hunters to have the portions of their allocated funds.

most bounty projects are like that, asking for a sudden bounty hunter to fill KYC I think the reason is that only complicates bounty hunters and prolongs distribution and from there bounty hunters have no other choice and must follow the rules and get a prize from project it

Providing KYC really have PROS and CONS and we have to be very careful in giving our personal information. Identiy theft is quite common for those person who have given their personal details to someone. I hope there will be a protection for all Bounty Hunters with regard to KYC.

To earn the few bucks sharing our own information is not the right choice in my point of view, because if that is scam project they sell the data to any information collection center for money.
We should not be a advertisement victim because of them.
If the ICO team is really worth they we can invest our fund, participate in bounty or work with them.

Am in support of this your view about KYC for hunters. It will be fine if KYC is requested at the beginning of the campaign because only those that have document for it will get involved in it but any KYC at the end of a campaign is just a way to cheat hunters.

To my understanding, KYC simply means "Know your customer". Investors(customers) who participate in ICO are made to go through KYC process before they are even allowed to purchase their tokens. On the other hand, Bounty hunters are just "part time workers" of the project and not customers. Even if they will be made to go through a KYC process, it should be before they start working and not after. Waiting for them to finish working for the project and refusing to pay them because they failed to pass KYC afterwards is a total cheat.

The KYC passage must undoubtedly be marked at the very beginning, and not after the work on the bounty company is completed, by bounty hunters.
 If the opposite happens, then something is wrong and you need to think about how to proceed.

KYC is for security of the ICO team which then can use to not sell tokens and rewards bounty hunters which resides on any restricted countries.
Though there are many ICO team who just want to cheat and scam people and sell the KYC to third parties.
Which they can get more money. As for now KYC is one of the most dangerous systems in the community

KYC should be required only if participants agree about the verification progress before he join the bounty campaign and not at the end, when rules suddenly change. That is not a fair proceeding.

Exactly, for sometime now many projects are demanding from bounty hunters personal documents after the end of the campaign which is not right thing to do. I don't have any problem with those that requested for it at the beginning of the campaign which gives hunters chances to decide whether to participate or not.
