Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Hi couple of questions.

wat does it mean by 'browser based anonymous blockchain'?
Also do you have any alternative to discord as it is blocked at my campus and i want to talk

Hello - to answer your questions;

- The uPlexa team gave this answer on page 1 of this thread, to the same question; "In terms of browser based anonymous blockchain, we're able to show the world that everything from transactions to mining can be done without the need to download anything."

- Absolutely! We also have a community-run forum; https://www.uplexaforum.com

Great fee Angry

congratulations uplexa team!!
Hi! can anyone reply this one? It seems that our fella had some huge fees while sending some UPX... can you give us more clues at what you did exactly? What wallet did you use? web? android? windows/linux gui?
I've never had such fees...is that possible?

Well, I can a little..
Regarding some withdrawals from Graviex I made I see 0.002 UPX fee in my tradehistory. Now that's decent!
Can't comment on other transactions as I haven't done anything more than that.

The user will need to post something more significant, preferably over on the Discord, where the dev team and others can assist.
It is user-error of some description, but we are more than happy to look at the problem, given more information Smiley

BTW any reason for the decline in difficulty ?

Some miners left because they haven't seen any dramatic price action 👌

Less for them, more for us Smiley Difficulty dropped and mining is now easier.
Dramatic price action will happen when the coin is added to CMC and when
the trading platform kicks in.

I agree on safety, using GUI wallet safety is higher.
With web wallet you are prone to traffic listening
and address spoofing.

congratulations uplexa team!!
And using web wallet transfering your UPX to any address is higher fee than the gui wallet, because in gui wallet there is a setting to use low amount of fee

I would not worry. We lost a couple of whales, and they will be replaced with smaller miners (which we obviously prefer). The Hash will catch up.

The sentiment is strong. All is well!

Thats awesome, nice to see Uplexa has such a strong reputation.

"Negatives — IoT mining is yet to be proven on a large scale, presentation of official website and app UIX could be improved" - Isn't this already being worked on?

Any way still a good strong shoutout to Uplexa!

My new Mobo has arrived so I'm hoping to have another rig up and running soon. Watch this space!

Yep - all that stuff is being worked on right now. I guess that article is just a snapshot of how the various products looked, at that specific time.
Awesome! Let us know how you get on!

Why even think about worrying when this is nothing less than Christmas early for a couple of days. I'm sure that it won't take too much time until the space will be filled by others.

If you really believe that this ain't another ordinary coin than you don't have anything to worry about.

The whale didn't take much hashpower then, so we're still good!
To summarize: 6.3 Mh, difficulty 760.000, blocktime 120 seconds, payout close to 4500 UPX.

There's plenty of pools to join: https://uplexa.com/resources

And voted best new cryptocurrency to mine for 2019 by Crypto King:
https://medium.com/@8kingofcrypto8/best-new-cryptocurrency-to-buy-or-mine-in-2019-65c2ec9bcfc1

And all this for a project with a bright idea, and a great and delivering devteam!

Whatnottomine??!!

Indeed! Nice article, different way of looking at things, and I totally agree with the idea of community power.

The article is nice but we need more and more articles like this one.

Also if everything will go as we believe, after the exposure and after entering coin calculators, I guess we will look at the actual difficulty and net hashrate and wonder if it was true or not.

Maybe at some point it will be very good for the exposure to do something like the experiment on lightning network with passing a small amount of BTC to another person after adding 10000 sats.

I'm not saying to do the same thing but something else creative based on UPLEXA top characteristics. (I can't came with an idea cause I'm not smart enough at technical issues but I'm 100 sure that we gave plenty of people here that can, and not only from the DEV team)

Whotheff I'm sorry but I don't have the slightest clue about any bountry except the one we will all enjoy after a couple of time when this gem will find its place among the top rated cryptos.

When I was taking about exposure I was referring to any place from where people can see it. So doesn't matter if it's Reddit / Medium / Twitter / YouTube /... etc.

Actually the real "GEM" here is the core Team (Devs), and the whole community, which is very strong and friendly, the pool owners are also doing an amazing job at keeping the hashrates under control, and to avoid centralisation. It's quite refreshing to see, compared to some other projects, where there's more a feeling of "competition" between pools, and they even show off proudly when they get +70% of the global network...

This is what I call real talk with only facts ! Nothing but the truth in your post. Of course both the team and community are the real "GEM" but I was referring to their fruit which goes by the name of UPX Smiley

Also nice observation about the pools hashrates. Never paid attention to this huge detail until u said it although I am against centralization as we all should be. By that u just opened my eyes to see how such a great accomplishment can be taken for granted even though it is something for what I stand for 100%. I guess that it is much more easy to see small flaws instead of much larger accomplishments. Just like in the real life when u often choose to see the empy part of the glass.

Again it was such a great post from u tybiboune!
