I fully agree, in cryptocurrency you can not trust anyone, you need to develop yourself in this area and already take risks!

Ratings can be bought or sponsored so they are not fully relevant. Scammers can make everything look professional, this is why we have to check  ourselves and not to trust blindly.

It's an anonymous sphere, so it's understandable that you don't know who's on the other side and what his thoughts are. It's better not to risk it.

You are right, I have seen in so many scenario where many projects lie to us, and this whole thing is caused by the rating websites

The principle of limited trust in the financial world can protect against unpleasant consequences. That is why rating websites should be approached with reserve. Of course, it is worth getting acquainted with their assessment, but it should always be guided by your own research.

How can you conduct your own research if you don't have enough material? In addition, you need to compare this project with other projects, i.e. do research on other projects that you only need for comparison. This is all very time consuming.
What research materials you're talking? AFAIK, what we just need is knowledge and experience so we won't get bait by this stupid ico ratings. Well honestly, at first I really look up to but then I realized their criteria for rating an ico is rubbish and as so their site.
It's more better if we just trust our own intuition and let it guide you.

Hey guys. Remember, in crypto sphere we can’t trust anyone! ICO rating sites are lying to us, you have to do YOUR OWN RESEARCH always! Remember this, and don’t let yourself be scammed!

Totally agree with u, don't trust anyone. we can get advise from others but have to do research by our self too, the most important part is the result by our research  Wink

I am in favor of your thoughts because I already read with this kind of issue. It's sad to to know the true but this is the reality, especially in crypto business. Technology is becoming more develop but we have to be more careful because some are really abusing and we can't deny such issue.

It is your fault if you join icos according to ico rating sites. Only ideas can be taken from these sites. Everything is very important about the project, everything should be thoroughly investigated. In the end, we don't make this money easily and we don't want to lose it easily.

projects pay those sites some ethereums to get the good ratings i don't usually go for the any ico rating site with bad graphics but i di trust the ico drops guyzz. it is the history that the project in which the show the high intrest gives the at least 2x return

Is is pretty easy to get scammed on this market, you are right. But people should realise that they should make a great investigation before taking part in any ICO. I have also met people that are just investing without even reading whitepapers.

I don't know how the once who rates the ICO in ICO rating sites gets their authority to rate it like there is no shown achievements on their name on rating ICO and some aren't well explained why they rate the ICO 1-5. This is one of the reason why I don't trust ICOs that are high rated because those people aren't introduced well. I agree that we should do further research to join an ICO.

I think they rely on the advice of other people who may be respected. In this way, they disclaim responsibility.

Of course. Most of the influencers, big names (almost all of them) are just bounty hunters actually. They just get paid way more than the usual! Cheesy

I never trust ico rating before and will not also, but the same goes to bounty hunters too cause we have so many scammers in bounty , using someone else report to get reward and bounty manager never see that, we need to reform this bounty of a thing as many project has turn to day light scammer.

As for me, I don't trust anybody. Nobody from my friends knows that I invested in crypto. It's safier when nobody knows. And as for different rating platforms I agree. My friend worked in Icobench he said that they were selling ratings. There is only 1 normal rating site - icodrops.

Anyone is not a hundred percent trust for this community.
We should make our own research and fund ourselves with knowledge.
Even people who we talk daily must not know our private keys and password.
we should keep it our selves everything we know, as much as possible!

I think your post deserves some merits, most icos are just here to zap money out of crypto holders ,as most of them do not perform even up to half of their own promises . It is better to do very extensive research on a project before buying into it . How many tokens that did Ico this year is trading above ico price? That is how bad it has gotten
