The biggest problem that we have in the cryptocurrency industry is lack of trust. Many people are in here with bad intentions and they take advantage of the vulnerable ones in the industry.So, in the end, the vulnerable crypto population turn to lose interest as their funds are stolen from them.So no one can actually be trusted in crypto so all one need to do is just open his or her eyes when you are doing anything.

We know that trust is the most important. That's why we need to be careful to give it to anyone, honestly for me we can't trust 100% anyone here in crypto, because there's a lot of people was has bad intentions like scamming people to gain money. The only person you can trust is yourself.

On a more serious note, the rate in which people keep abusing this opportunity tensed me, we are seeing lot of scam ICOs everyday by day all because the technology is decentralized , and doing so is spoiling the image of the technology as we all need to fight it, rating ico are just fun to me the main thing depend on the team integrity , not even their profile checking or any other info about them but their real them of really want to provide solution and not creating more problem.

I agree. ICO ratings means no bearing since they are being  paid or sponspored by ICO's themselves. The sad rhing is that they deny it but in reality they make a living by telling lies. How could someone rate a coin if the product is not being tested yet. ICO ratings are lies. If you notice, scam ICO's always have a high rating by trusted reviews.

ICO rating site's is cannot be trusted because there are some projects that pays them just to get a big ratings,and also even if they are listed on the listing website but we cannot guarantee that the project is legit,some of them are scam that's why we need to make our own research to avoid scam projects.

Its inappropriate to tell us that ratings are lies, they rate the project based don't base on overall status and trend instead they analyze the project and tell people how they see the project and it does not mean that if the ratings are high the project will be successful sometimes you have to know what is the current trend and how will gain advantage over it.

Having higher ratings doesn't mean the project will be as successful as other does, it only tells us about how good the project not the future of it.

Trust i would say is the reason why crypto is decentralized.
It's really been in a while now since some ICO listing sites been compromising. They are always after the money that will be paid to them and will not bother to analyse the project before rating. Ratings are done based on the amount of money paid and not how good the project is. So it is better for one not to depend on them before choosing.

Not to the ICO rating sites. Of course we trust blockchain, you don't even have to learn who is on the otherside. The problem with ICO listing sites is that the only who rates the listings are also the team members who had verified themselves in the platform. If you tried to register to these ICO rating sites, they would asks KYC for your account to be approved. That's the same thing as being at gun point.

It is very true, you should be sceptical of most of the 3rd party sources of information that include the ICO rating sites and even more so the Youtube promoters. My personal view is I take these as a starting point to discover a new project and then start to dig for my own research from there.
